Stayed in what seemed like the middle of vineyard. Great croissants, very nice room with coffee maker, wonderful little patio. Great location located in the middle of Dry Creek area with incredible vineyards all around. Couldn't ask for a better location and cottage! Bruce gave us some great advice on places to see in the area. Had a fabulous time here.

If you're looking to get away from it all in a beautiful serene location, yet still be in driving distance away from some of the best food and wine in the world, Zinscape is the perfect place.||||The rental is located walking distance from some amazing wineries (Bella, Zichichi, Preston) and the walk is incredibly scenic. Downtown Healdsburg is just a 10-15min drive down beautiful Dry Creek Road...seriously you will not stop looking out the window.||||The room we stayed in (the cottage) was clean, specious, with its own little kitchen. Everything we needed was there (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, toaster oven) and the landlord provided us with fresh croissants, milk, coffee, and orange juice. The beds are very comfortable with plush duvets and extra blankets...we didn't need any. The bathroom has a large tub, it felt like we were at our own personal spa. And the best thing was the view from the large sliding glass windows right out to the vineyards. We felt like we were the only ones there. Perfect.||||The host, Bruce, was available as needed and was very helpful giving us tips on where to go for dinner and other hot spots to check out in the area. We plan to come back next year when the leaves start changing color. It should be beautiful.

Well, practically....||||When you open up the curtain in the morning, you'll feel like you're in a vineyard because you're just feet away - literally. This is a great alternative to the usual hotel. It's a little cottage next to the owners house in a gorgeous area 15 minutes north of Healdsburg. It's basically a very big bedroom with the view, a nicely stocked kitchen and a very nice bathroom. Everything is clean and the host provides coffee, croissants and cereal with milk and jam. ||||My only regret is that we did not stay longer. There are vineyards all around, Healdsburg is very close and Bruce the host is very knowledgable about the area and provides great suggestions. Our stay was $175 a night in June and less for 2 nights. Plus, we had car trouble and missed one night and Bruce did not charge us!!!! Good guy!

Stayed at Zinscape 10 years ago! It was awesome, so much so that we wanted to stay again. What is great - location next to a vineyard, privacy, facilities to prepare meals, awesome croissants each morning, wonderful bathroom. Why I have to give an average rating - I think the mattress on the bed was the same mattress from 10 years ago. If the owners would invest in a new mattress, I could give an excellent rating. Sleep comfort is very important to me at my age of 58.

Positives: A beautiful location in the Dry Creek Valley. It is far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to the Healdsburg Plaza and our favorite restaurant, Willi's Seafood. The decor in both the cottage and guest room is lovely. Negatives: The cottage has an odor, the towels were VERY stinky/sour, and there was NO top sheet on the bed which was very hard and uninviting. The pocket door to bathroom is very noisy and jolting for anyone sleeping if closed in the middle of the night.

Most other reviewers have accurately commented on the idyllic location of this unique facility. My wife and I had the good fortune to discover Zinscape not long after it opened and have returned at least annually in pursuit of our wine explorations. The quiet matches our home environment in the mountains adjacent to wilderness. Most noteworthy is probably Bruce's attention to visitors' requests or suggestions. Nothing ever looks worn or threadbear. Fresh appliances, lights, heaters, etc. appear with subsequent visits. You park on asphalt just feet from your front door with no steps. This is a marvelous place to enjoy!

If you are looking for a quiet corner of Dry Creek valley to relax, this is your place. There is nothing better than waking up to the sun rise over the vineyards. The cottage is a great place to rest or a base for exploring the region. The room is comfortable and the breakfast items are great. Enjoy!

We have been staying about twice a year at Zinscape for about 3 years and we are never disappointed. The past visit was no exception. It is a quiet sanctuary in close proximity to both fine dining and great wineries. The perks include your own private entrance, a well-equipped kitchenette with all the makings for a good breakfast provided, a great tub for soaking and we could go on...
