Went here 11/27/24 with my husband and we were beyond happy with the experience. Paid for the VIP room with the big tub and Bluetooth speaker (worth it!) had a very relaxing time. The whole spa was very clean and seemed well maintained. The staff were friendly and answered all our questions. Close to the Bart station, it was the perfect evening getaway from the city! Will be back soon.

It's ok. fairly clean but dated. Bring slippers are the floor looks a bit icky and bring towels as the ones they provide have a weird smell. they nickel and dime like $3 for a fresh towel ...seriously... The bed was extremely uncomfortable to even lie down and chill so didn't stay all that long. the spa and sauna were decent. I won't come back as there are better options at this price point

I loved this place! I knew the reviews going and didn’t expect much but they really impressed me! This place has such bad reviews, i didn’t have that experience there was no mold no moldy smell. Towels were clean didn’t smell. the front lady was very cool and helpful. Able to same day book. Everything was pleasant and just what we wanted. We brought our own epsom salt and were allowed to use it. I had a really good time! I booked the vip room, i didn’t expect a shower but it was nice after the tub.

I had a great time here! We had the private hot tub for 2. Definitely worth it! The customer service was great! We went around 7:30 pm and were greeted right away. They didn't rush us to leave when our time was up. The lady at the front desk was really professional and respectful. We definitely will be coming back here. This is our go to place when we visit Oakland now!

Very relaxing and romantic spa! The atmosphere is soothing from the second you walk in with a type of floral aroma. Staff is friendly, answered all my questions over the phone and explained everything in our room. The place is very clean and it seemed they sqwuigy clean ALL glass items after every use. We paid $70 for 60min in a VIP spa room and it was worth every penny! The star light ceiling, pink bath light and adjustable dimming lights sets a very romantical mood!

Hi...I am updating my previous review:

I have been to Zen Springs now 4 times and this place is wonderful. I go during mid-day after my massage treatments to complete a spa day for myself! I have an hour soak usually, and everything is always the same...clean facilities, and quiet. Today the manager treated me to an upgrade...the VIP Room for 2 people... Wow! Huge tub and room, beautiful skylights starry sky and colors. Really a wonderful soak! Thank you so much!

If you are in need of a wonderful fresh water chlorine-free soak, try this place! And/or bring your significant other for a romantic experience too!

I was there early afternoon by myself on a Thursday. Very quiet, and very clean facility. Nicely decorated. I viewed both rooms before deciding and picked the smaller room since I was by myself.

Tub and Tile clean and no mold. I had a great experience. I will come back, as I only have a shower at home and love to soak in a tub. I am allergic to chlorine so this place is perfect!

I can also see where couples will love this place!

It was very spacious, clean and empty. We was the only guest inside the building. What I didn't like is that the desk clerk left the ID on the front counter and the door was unlocked and anyone could have came inside and took the driver's license off the counter, we looked around for the clerk but the clerk was nowhere to be found so we just left.

PLEASE PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The customer service is horrible being that they will not accommodate you for a refund if you are not comfortable with the service they are providing ,as well as making you seem like you are incompetent of knowing what is sanitary and what’s not. I complained of the room not being clean the shower had hair in it as well as dirt on the floor. The jacuzzi had dirt as well and the walls were cracking like missing pieces out of it. The whole atmosphere felt wrong. If your a clean person and you like nice things. This establishment isn’t for you. It’s the lowest of the lows, and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.
