We were there for a cheer conference at the Schaumburg Convention Center. The location is great--there's even a 3/4 mile sidewalk path to walk to the convention center so you can avoid the mess of parking @ the convention center. The hotel is clean-ish. Despite what's advertised, there was no free breakfast, the restaurant on site was closed, and the mini-mart was pretty close to empty. You will definitely have to leave to eat any meal. The room was fairly clean, but dusty. looks like some repairs were done to our room and never painted over to match the wall around the repair. Ceiling plaster/paint was peeling in the bathroom over the shower/tub. Electric sockets hanging out of the walls. Reservation for 3 people, only 1 full set of towels in the room and couldn't get anymore from the desk because all the towels were being washed. one 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the room when we arrived and had to go to the front desk to get more...||||All that said, we were there for a cheer competition and to go to Medieval Times. We stayed 2 nights, so it wasn't bad enough that we broke our reservation. My kids had a great time because they don't know any better. Would not stay here again.

DO NOT BOOK!
No breakfast, no restaurant ,no pool no towels in room smelled horrible. I was charged 125 extra and they couldn't tell me what for or why and I'm Still waiting on my refund. Was here for cheer comp thank goodness I wasn't in need of that 125 or I would be ass out. and a few of the other cheer moms had to get their rooms moved because it smelled so bad. never again

Pretty dissatisfied and I’m relatively easy to get along with. I was there for three nights. After the first night I told the front desk clerk the thermostat in my room did not work. No power at all to it, no numbers, no turning it on or off or adjusting it at all. She did not off to send maintenance, did not offer to switch rooms, just said ā€œit’s probably because of the windā€. I just dealt with it the next night too even though the room was a little chilly for me, it wasn’t too terrible. The third night temps in Chicago dropped below freezing with a snow storm blowing in and my room was FREEZING. Again the last morning I mentioned to the front desk maybe they should put in for a work order on the thermostat; I told her AGAIN it hadn’t worked the whole time and that I had gotten ZERO sleep the night before because my room was soooooooo cold. She literally just said ā€œsorry about thatā€. That’s it. Really? I paid three nights lodging, reported no heat in my room multiple times, got no sleep at all when temps dropped below freezing in Chicago on the third night and it was probably upper 50s low 60s inside the room, I was SO COLD. I travel constantly, at least 2 weeks every month I’m in a hotel. I’m so disappointed by the blatant lack of any level of customer service whatsoever, the fact that I made staff aware of the lack of heat in the room multiple times and they literally could not care less. Shameful.

Not worth the cheap price… trust me it’s worth spending the extra dollar for a better hotel.

1. The walls are paper thin- First room they put us in we could hear music banging next door and it smelled of weed. We asked to be moved rooms and the next room was even worse than the 1st

2. The moment we walked in we could see hand prints all over the headboard. The sheets were stained yellow and worn thin in areas. There was also hair all on the bed.

3. The shower head was spraying partly out of the tub and you could not move the shower head. The shower curtain was so nasty and torn and had random hair all over it.

4. We were suppose to stay 3 nights and ended up staying one before canceling and booking at a new hotel up the street.

5. Positive note- the front desk was very friendly, there was no pushback on canceling our reservation and we were only charged for one night, which I appreciate. Although many friends and family told us we should not have paid it all. I decided not to argue the one night charge because the front staff was so friendly and did allow us to cancel with no fees or questions asked.

I know we did not book a 5 star hotel but there is no effort in making sure the rooms are clean and I felt very dirty while in the rooms.

They didn't give me the two connecting rooms like I requested lady over the phone said they have some and she'd take care of me I get there they gave 2 rooms across the hall from each other instead. One of the rooms bed was broken one one side friend laid down and almost ended up on the floor. Be a while before I give them another try.

The location is good for the convention center competitions however, we ask for a cott and blankets and we get 1 sheet and a Cotten blanket. Bathroom sleeping is falling apart, lobby is a dump and looks nothing like the photos. Will not stay again.

Not recommend to stay there. Friends had mouse droppings on beds, and others used condoms on the floor. Some reported bed bugs. We stayed there with larger group and we had people leave this hotel without proper reimbursement. Very disappointing. And we paid for breakfast where they told us the kitchen is closed completely during our stay. Again, they didn't offer any compensation for it.

We have been staying at this hotel for 4 nights every January (2 rooms) for over 10 years. It seems to go downhill every year. The restaurant attached to the hotel has been closed for years. We used to get breakfast vouchers which was always very good! Now, all the hotel offers is coffee in the morning. We have had issues almost every year from overflowing toilets, to no towels, and this year we had no shower curtain. No shower curtain isn't a big deal, but when the guy at the front desk couldn't find one, we had to use the bed sheet for a shower curtain. I also requested new bed linens. The blanket on the bed was covered with a sheet to try to hide a disgusting blanket that was basically grey instead of white. The fitted sheet was like something from a clearance bin at Walmart that only fit halfway on the mattress and kept falling off. The mattress looked and felt like it hasn't been replaced since the 1980's. The TV is ancient and took me a while to get it to work with my Roku. I almost called for a room change or different TV, but, I got it to finally work. If it weren't for my Roku, it would have been unwatchable as it kept constantly freezing & buffering. When we arrived and took the elevator to the 3rd floor we were immediately greeted with a very strong Marijuana odor. We let the front desk know about it the next morning and basically got a shoulder shrug. If you need to use their shuttle, good luck, as they only run it when there's a certain person there and the hours of operation are extremely limited, all but non-existent. The rooms are in dire need of an update. Paint missing on the walls, touch-up paint they did use didn't match, cracks, dirty walls, stains, carpet stains, etc.... Ultimately, every year our experience has gotten worse and worse. We will be staying somewhere else going forward.
