WOW Café unfortunately does not wow my stomach. This underwhelming and unhealthy eatery is very lacking in both quality of product and quality of service. To this establishments credit, or not, the blame cannot be put on the employees as they are students who also have to deal with school and extracurriculars so for that I cannot discredit them. However, with that said, a one star review is still appropriate due to the lack of menu items, inaccurate calorie reports, and overall terrible approach to a food business. Now while one might ask that a criticism based on this establishments unhealthy options is unwarranted due to the nature of this establishment, however, this question is invalidated by the context in which this eatery exists. For students on campus who elect to use a meal plan (for freshman it is required) at a restaurant, if it could be called that, that specializes in fried food being one of four places to eat is an atrocious oversight. While the rocket deli is a joint establishment, it’s hours of operation are less meaning that WOW, paired with the Earharts dining hall are sometimes the only place to eat after a long day of study. This situation results in either a dull and unpalatable meal, or a fried meal, with neither being optimal for those looking for a good healthy meal. In short, the WOW Café is not an establishment I would recommend, with alternatives like a home cooked meal being the much better and always safer option that I support.

Overall my experience here has been anything but WOWing. First off, they never open on time and are consistently 30-45 minutes late in opening or even closing everyday while, like previous reviews have mentioned, employees just stand around talking. When they take orders they aren't friendly and will stop taking orders for 20 minutes at a time when the lines are longest. Now this is the 5th time my order has been wrong or missing something on it so they never can get one right. When you do get the food it is just thrown together and not usually pretty or appealing. The fries are usually cold and do not get the gross waffle sweet potato fries. About the only thing that is worth ordering of they are still open or consistently taking orders is the chicken tenders.

The last few times I've eaten here, I've gotten rather sick. Staff are kind, and friendly. Their wings are probably the best thing on the menu, everything else now seems to just be thrown together with not a lot of care, and missing the usual amount of sauce depending on the dish. Sweet potato fries are usually cold and unappetizing. It's the convince factor that brings me here, but until they bring their quality up again, I'll go out of my way for a better meal.

One of the only places you can eat on campus if you don't want Earharts. Food isn't meant to be healthy really but just quick. And you pay the price for getting it "quick". Burgers can be burnt, tenders overcooked, etc. Pretty hit or miss on if the food is good or not. Prices are a bit high if you don't have a meal plan.

It's better than Earhart dining, but the food is not that great. If you do come here, do not get the burgers. The buns and the patty are quite gross. I recommend the salad, chicken fingers, or the deli sandwich right next to wow.

How are the employees here so inefficient and rude when they are so nice at Earhart's? It's the same company. You will wait a long time here to order because the employees are just talking. Then you will wait a long time for your food and it will come incorrect and/or cold.

Have been eating here for a few years now, but in the last year this Cafe has gone from 2 stars to 5. Much faster service, very well staffed, and I never have issues with my food bring done well. The food also isn't crazy overpriced like you'd expect a college cafeteria to be

This is all fried, unhealthy, and generally low quality college food. The students have no choice other that this place and Earhart's up the hill, and many choose WOW due to it's slightly more interesting options. Do not let this fool you, the quality is low and the prices are exceedingly high.
