Super friendly atmosphere. Was super chill on a Saturday afternoon and I was able to enjoy a salad that was phenomenal. The strawberry oat milk machta was delicious!! I can’t wait to come back and get more homework done soon. There was plenty of seating within the actually coffee shop and in the vinegar hill mall. It’s a whole vibe for sure! Plenty of outlets too for charging your devices.

Ordered a bowl of potato soup and a cup of coffee. My partner got an egg sandwich. My soup hardly had any flavor, just cubed frozen potatoes in milk. I was so disappointed. The coffee was nothing to write home about either. I had to ask my partner for a slice of bacon from his sandwich to add flavor to my soup.

This was my first time to their new location. At their previous location, everything was outstanding and 5 stars, but I'm not sure what happened here. My food was given to another table and then the same plates were brought to me. Although I trusted the employee when she said they didn't touch it, it was still cold. My macchiato, I know I ordered it traditional, but it smelled and tasted burnt, and the peppermint oatmilk latte had a strong taste as if it had gone bad. I couldn't finish either drink. I wish I hadn't spent money here, and I wish I knew what happened. I was going to chalk it up to just an off day, but my friends said they experienced the same. 🙁

The staff was lovely, and the space is still very welcoming and relaxing.

I recently visited this charming little café that exudes a very cool atmosphere, adorned with lots of stylish furniture that gives it a unique and inviting vibe. The staff were exceptionally friendly and added to the overall pleasant experience. However, I found the portions to be quite small, which might be a downside for those with bigger appetites. The menu is rather limited, so don't expect a wide variety of options. On the plus side, the coffee is excellent and definitely worth trying. It's a great spot if you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy a good cup of coffee and some light bites.

Love the atmosphere of this downtown cafe and the staff is so friendly. Reasonable prices and the menu offered so many good options, it was hard to choose! We had the Strawberry & Goat Cheese Salad, Cubano, and Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. I also tried the sausage gravy. Everything was delicious!

August 9, 2024 - Today was my first visit to Wm. Van’s Cafe. I was disappointed. The service was a big letdown, as we had to wait for our food. It was prepared and sat for several minutes before we received it. Our drinks were delivered after we received the food.

However, the food was better than the service. The avocado toast and hot chocolate were delicious. The Red Eye Benny was flavorful, but lukewarm due to the delay in delivery. The cortado was decent, but too cool.

The potential is there for Wm. Van’s to be a great coffee place. We will try again another time to see if it is better.

I’ve been here several times since they reopened, and the food, coffee and service is fantastic. It’s my go-to spot for coffee in the morning.

I’ve tried both breakfast and lunch items and they’ve all been great. Love the Avocado BLT, the French toast, omelets, and the breakfast biscuit is HUGE. The space is beautiful, the food is tasty and the staff are all lovely, sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back again and again!
