I just bought a hot drink at Winks this morning. I normally go to Carter's but was so excited to find a coffee shop that wasn't out of my way for work, so I decided to give it a go. my first impression, the coffee itself is okay. Not great, not terrible just... There. They charge almost two dollars more for a hot large drink than the other coffee shop I go to, and the size is about half of the large at my normal place. It wasn't a terrible experience but I probably won't be back. The price for the quality AND size is honestly almost funny. Hope you guys have great business ventures in the future, you're just not for me.

The previous four times I’ve been here, they shut down their espresso machine 40 minutes early and I had to get my lattes with cold brew. Today the girl asked another worker if they could still do espresso (20 minutes before closing, during happy hour), and it was decided they could. I got my drink and it’s almost as light colored as milk and it tastes like it was made with cold brew.
Why do your workers keep shutting the espresso machine down so early? And why even have a happy hour if you’re unable to serve half of your drink menu because your machine is shut down. Isn’t the main draw of a happy hour to bring more customers in? Do I need to show up exactly at 5 to make sure that I can get an espresso drink? I feel like I just paid $8 for a coffee I could’ve easily made at home.

The drinks are really good, but most of their lotus drinks rely on lotus cream, which isn't for everybody. If it does end up being your thing though, you'll love it.

The one time I went there they told me they were out of coffee. I got a lotus and it was yummy. But if you advertise as an espresso bar I would really make sure to have coffee. I will try again but Shots Fired on 12th always has coffee.

Someone gave me a gift card and I was excited. I ordered a mocha peppermint cold brew. The recipe was horrible. Disgustingly unbalanced with the dark chocolate syrup and I couldn’t taste the peppermint. I wanted to love it. It seemed that the coffee base was superior here compared to the base coffee at the other popular coffee bar in town. But, that is just my opinion.

I was in this morning August 10th around 7am and both the young man and the young lady who were working were very kind. You have a great bunch of young people working for you. Both wished me the best day ever. Made my day.
