One of the most amazing hidden gems. The restaurant is amazing with private rooms for small events and parties... Having your own room and your own servers is wonderful. The bar with indoor and outdoor seating on a beautiful day is a step into another peaceful realm.
Stay there: the rooms are luxurious, go to the spa when you want special treatment.
I have spoken many times in the banquet room and it fabulous with excellent service for the group you are speaking to large or not so large (200-300 people)... They did a wonderful job.

We came to the area for a cheer competition in Stockton - didn’t want to stay in Stockton, so we booked a night at Wine & Roses. I am so happy we found this hidden gem! We only stayed one night, but wish we stayed longer. The Friday evening wine reception was very inviting, and the staff was so friendly. The photos of the grounds don’t do it justice! It was absolutely beautiful. The rooms are large, clean and quiet! If we end up back in the area, we will most definitely book here again! Thanks for the wonderful experience (and good nights sleep before a long/exhausting cheer competition)!

A Hidden Gem with Impeccable Grounds and Exceptional Staff

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wine & Roses, and I can’t speak highly enough about the experience. The grounds are nothing short of breathtaking—meticulously maintained, lush, and inviting. Every corner seemed to have its own charm, from the vibrant gardens to the serene pathways. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into keeping the property pristine.

What truly made the stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. The housekeepers and ground crew were beyond friendly—always greeting with warm smiles and kind words. They seemed genuinely proud of their work, and it showed in every detail, from the sparkling cleanliness of the rooms to the perfectly manicured lawns and gardens.

Wine & Roses is a rare find where beauty, cleanliness, and hospitality come together seamlessly. I can’t wait for our next visit!

Even though I live in Sacramento, I have stayed at Wine and Roses on 3 separate occasions, have used the spa services, and have enjoyed every stay. The rooms are well appointed and clean. I have gotten a massage each time I’ve stayed at W&R and absolutely love the ambiance and tranquility of the outdoor and indoor tranquility room. The 2 small plunge pools are perfect and surrounded by beautiful trees and foliage. My family absolutely love Towne House restaurant on the premises and have eaten here often for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and appetizers at the lounge. The food is always fresh, well presented, and delicious! Have even enjoyed the wine tasting on the premises; it appears to have mostly red wines but the outdoor patio is great for wine tasting. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Wine and Roses and highly recommend it to anyone looking a nice getaway, great meal or spa treatment!

My husband and I booked this hotel as a last-minute anniversary getaway, we love the Lodi area. The room was beautiful, and the king bed was comfortable. Overall, I give this hotel 5 stars. Unfortunately, the spa was fully booked, so we did not get to try their services, that's the downside to spontaneous road trips. My only complaint has to do with the restaurant, Towne House. There was nothing online that indicated the restaurant was going to be closed for a private event. The kitchen was completely closed, even for room service. We were looking forward to dining on-site, and ended up having to go find something else. We will try again, but I would encourage anyone wanting to stay here and try the restaurant to call ahead and make sure the kitchen will be open.

I’ve been going to the spa at wine and roses for about 10 years. I’ve had both amazing services and not so great customer service. Overall this is my favorite place for relaxation because it is so peaceful and beautiful. You get 2 hours of spa time, water, tea and granola are available. Hot and cool tubs, and steam rooms. Locker rooms are also very nice. It’s a wonderful time alone or with a friend or partner.

I absolutely love my facials with Hannah Oram. She is a very knowledgeable, talented professional and her messages put me to sleep!

My not great experiences have almost always been with the new hirers. a couple of the front staff have horrible customer service and can’t even hire their annoyance of working with people
