Amazing and unforgettable!

I'm so glad we chose the Windmill Inn for our first real bed and breakfast experience! Amazing and unforgettable are the words to describe everything about it. All three rooms (we booked them all) have private bathrooms and were very comfortable, spacious, and well-decorated. The views from every room and everywhere on the property are unforgettable! Our first of two nights there, Rod lit the fire pit for us to enjoy under the amazing starry sky. We also enjoyed use of the pool table and big-screen TV in the family room. Suzie's breakfasts were outstanding! We had a yummy breakfast quiche the first morning and an equally delicious Eggs Benedict the second morning. Rod loaned us one of his spotting scopes to use in Yellowstone, and our last morning there he found a herd of elk near his property that we were able to watch for a while before we checked out.

Thank you so much Rod and Suzie for an amazing and unforgettable experience! We hope we can come back some other year!

We wanted to see Yellowstone on a tight schedule, and Rod and Suzie delivered. We had a first class experience in a two-night stay in the cottage. What beautiful scenery! Rod's knowledge of the park was amazing and Suzie's meals were fantastic. What a great location between historic Cody and the nation's first national park. And what amazing hospitality. Overall wonderful experience and highly recommended.

You won’t find a better bed & breakfast than the Windmill Inn! We stayed there as our base for exploring the area, especially Yellowstone. It took us several days to explore Yellowstone. Rod, being a guide, was an invaluable resource. He and Suzie seemed to know where to look for grizzlies, wolves, and nesting birds. We were able to see the most awesome wildlife! And to top it off, Suzie is a gourmet cook and treated us with delicious breakfasts! Thanks for your great hospitality, Rod and Suzie! You are a great team!

Windmill Inn is a great place to stay while going through the West entrance to Yellowstone and visiting Cody, Wyoming. Rod and Suzie are excellent and friendly hosts. Their inn is situated in the country and has great views of the colorful and ever-changing landscape. I stayed in the Wapiti room. It was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served beautifully, was substantial and delicious. They gave all kinds of tips on what to see and do while in their area. The road they live on is quiet and good for walking. Rod has a guide business also which was well worth the time and expense.

You won’t find a better or more welcoming B&B. From the majestic scenery to Suzie’s gourmet breakfasts and Rod’s excellent advice as a local guide, we had a wonderful stay. Rod & Suzie seemed to have the inside story on where to find Bighorn sheep, grizzlies and nesting birds at Yellowstone. They were so helpful in making our Yellowstone experience all the richer. Staying with Rod and Susie was a pleasure. Their home has beautiful views Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was awesome - both in the breakfast room and our to go box for an early morning departure. We enjoyed playing pool at night. -complete with fresh popcorn. And all of Rod and Susie’s recommendations were spot on - wonderful hikes, great activities in Cody,as well as lovely local restaurants. Staying here was a wonderful part of our Cody adventure.

The BED & BREAKFAST was perfectly clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, & extremely comfortable. The food was delicious. Our tour was outstanding. Rod, owner of tour company, gave us a private 10 hr. tour. Places & wildlife we saw were amazing. Breakfast and lunch along trip were delicious.. Rod's patience and service were so gracious. One could tell he enjoyed people and he was extremely knowledgeable.

Firstly, no one told us how stunning the Wapiti Valley was! People round there are obviously spoilt for scenery... The views from the Inn are just something else. ||We stayed in the seperate cottage, which had all you need and was very comfortable. Breakfasts by Suzie were fantastic - definitely set you up for the day, she can cook! Rod is a professional guide so very helpful for planning trips to Yellowstone or more locally (Beartooth Highway, Chief Joseph highway). Cody is 20 or so minutes away and is a really cool town, has a fun vibe to it and some great restaurants - particularly The Local and Trailhead. ||Rod & Suzie are just really warm, friendly hosts who make you feel very welcome and at home. Highly recommend!
