We recently stayed in Cabin #3 and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making a late check-in a breeze. The cabin itself is small, clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere for our stay.

Our family really enjoyed camping here! The sites were large, easy to get in and out of, and the staff friendly. It was a nice and quiet location.

We wanted to explore Little River Canyon, and this campground was in good proximity to it.

Staff was very nice amd helpful.
No fires allowed unless u brought a bottom pit. We were pretty disappointed w/ that.
Private Bathroom/showers were large and square rooms , open shower but over all nice
Pull through RV lot was open gravel not very cozy or private and very bright street lights come on at night taking away from the private dark outdoor feel.
Back in sites looked to be more wooded

Stopped here on our way home to Louisiana after spending a week at a beautiful campground in Bryson City, North Carolina. Wanted to check out the area because we heard that there was great hiking nearby. Our 2 sites were in the "newer" section. There was no shade and one site had a mudhole under the hook up. Our sites smelled like manure and we could hardly stand to be outside. Walking around the rest of the park, it appeared that there were quite a few long-term residents. At night, the security lights on poles nearby were so bright, I could hardly get to sleep. At $70 a night, I would not recommend this park.

Stayed in cabin 3, very disappointed cabin was not cleaned properly, had to listen to some creature knowing on something underneath the unit, what I mean by cleaned properly, you should not see urine spots on the floor at commode, hot water was about nonexistent gotta do better folks.

I stayed here once several years ago and it was adequate for a night's stay. It's easy in and out and that's about it. Sites are very close. I have called a few times during open hours through the years since then and have yet to get a answer or a returned call. The last time was about 2 weeks ago and still nothing. We stay at Desoto Park most of the time and will continue to.

This is one of the better RV parks I've stayed at. It's well-run by people who care. The setting is pleasant, with level gravel sites, plenty of grass and some shade trees. The shower and laundry facilities are not fantastic but they're pretty good and are kept clean. There is a very nice walk path in the woods along the creek; it's kept mowed. On the downside, the Wi-Fi is very weak. They say they're going to improve that so hopefully they will. Also, the nearby town is pretty basic so don't expect fine restaurants or upscale shopping. What's available is decent but not fancy.

Made a reservation for 1 night. We arrived around 7:30pm the office was closed so we were told on a phone conversation to pick up our receipt and go left and there would be "plenty" of spots to choose from. I asked for our site number and we were told just to pick one.. We drove around the corner to find only 1 spot left. We pulled in and was immediately met with a terrible smell. As we were just staying 1 night and heading out early we didn't want to hook up the water and sewer. We walked at least 5 minutes to get to the bathroom. The door on the women's bathroom was broke. There are 2 showers that barely had any water pressure and took forever to get warm. The bathroom was very dirty and there were no paper towels. The stall doors were like barn doors..1 didn't have a latch and the other barely closed. The sites are very close together with your neighbors sewer hookups right at your picnic table. We have camped here several times before but this experience was not acceptable. If I'm booking a site months in advance, I should have a specific site not just whatever is left. I will be looking for other campgrounds along my routes next time.
