CUSTOMER BEWARE: INCORRECT HOURS AND UNPROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATES

As most people gather their information from Google Maps for store hours and ratings, save yourself a trip if you expect this location to be open until 10pm.

An unprofessional associate became defensive as I brought this issue to their attention at the entry door right around 9pm. He stated that they have no control over the Google hours. While I understand that this particular employee would not have this type of control, I was hoping that he would tell me that the issue would be communicated with a manager. The hours listed are allegedly “summer hours,” but I write this review in the dead of winter. They’ve had quite a bit of time to make this change.

I spoke with a woman in her parked car in the parking lot as I walked to the door, who was as confused as I was. After the awful interaction with the employee, I let the woman know what they said and she commented on how far downhill Whole Foods has come. I sat in my car for about 5 minutes to gather myself. In this short time, I saw two additional parties, a man and then a couple, walk up to the door assuming it was open because they trusted the hours online.

I decided to chat online with Whole Foods customer support to let someone other than the store know to change the hours. While the initial chat seemed promising, a secondary person said I needed to check the hours ON THE WEBSITE before going to the store. Nobody goes to websites for that kind of information.

VERY disappointed in this whole ordeal; Whole Foods used to be such a fun experience. It’s out of the way for me for sure, so I’ll think twice before making this trip again.

Went to return a package from Amazon. Ended up doing some shopping. Not as big as other whole food stores, but still lots of options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store was clean.

**Edited 11.3.24** I especially love the fresh roasted chicken, variety of decadent sweets, hot & cold bar, pizza bar, variety of imported cheeses, seltzer waters and all the other goodies. The Philly cheese steak whole wheat pizza is the best I had in a while. I’ll be back just for this!!

I went there with my daughter in law. She's always doing healthy, food prepping. "Loved." However, I the store looks nice. She seemed to have found everything she was looking for.
The young man assisted us in taking out the mountain springs water. He was very kind, careful, and helpful, loading us up.

Buffet food is horrible. Got chicken, veggies, and mash potatoes. Chicken is SO dry and hard. I’m eating it because I spent $20 on it. Bought 3 bags worth of groceries and it came out to $200. You are better off next door at Pete’s they offer the same and for cheaper. Also cleanliness is not. Only giving a 2 cause the gentlemen at the charcuterie board section asked if I need help and was friendly

This place has a lot. Since Amazon owns them I have gone here to return Amazon packages. It is also a decent grocery store. Honestly I feel like there are better options in Orland Park though. This place is pretty pricey, but the food is a bit higher quality. I would honestly rather go to Trader Joes or Mariano’s. They food have decent produce though and some stuff that you can’t find anywhere else.

every time I try to get a pizza it take 40 mins, so I try to call ahead and today on April 12th 2025. I called at 7:30pm and was placed on hold for 10 mins and then hung up on. I called back and was told that the pizza department was closed, I asked when does the pizzeria close. She told me it depends and said today at 7:30pm. what a coincidence. This has occurred on multiple occasions and quite frankly it's just frustrating. the employees are rude and unprofessional.
