Rooms were simple, clean and well cared for, though nothing like a modern renovated motel or hotel. The parking area and walkways to the rooms, even though they are trying with the abundance of plastic colorful flowers in the planters, are kind of bleak. Extremely close to Kaiser Hospital.

Stayed here on a visit to Cal, very easy to arrive by the bus. However, the room was right next to the street and I heard every car that passed at night. The owner seemed a bit annoyed that my party arrived at 10:30 and I didn't realize there were a few cigarette burns in the blanket until after I woke up. Overall, the room was clean but it had a faint hotel scent as a result of the area. There also isn't good breakfast food in the area before 10 am (not at fault of the hotel). The room had a microwave and fridge, which was great, but I had a bad night of sleep here.

Stay away.The reviews were good and the guy at the front desk was nice. The room was also fine, but the place did not feel safe at all. We pulled in to three guys staring at us wearing face masks and spray painting their car. They were blasting music and we honestly felt unsafe. We did not stay the night and went to another part of the city. Do not regret moving to another hotel 😹

Very poor stood outside for 15 minutes waiting for the tenant to come to the window claimed he was in the shower finally my guess and myself went to the value inn which was down the street from there got a room for a week and spent $700 he missed a 700 shot. Guess he just didn't need any money. This motel is straight garbage.

I stayed here during my nursing contract at Kaiser, superb locale, I was pleased with the room and the bed was 100% comfortable, I couldn't believe the sleep I got. This is a good place for a single person who is coming to Oakland to do business. The outside of the building is average but it is kept very clean. I didn't smell cigarettes nor any unpleasant smells. The shower was strong. So next time Im up north cali, this will be my lodgeing, did I mention the pricing was superb as well, Manny is a good person and he worked with me admirable. Management is great. We did not have a fridge in our room and they made sure one was delivered. Rooms are basic and could use fresh linens and bedding but it was comfortable. We booked direct not online. Online has rooms as 2 queens when i booked direct they told me they were really full size beds. They are Fulls. The only thing I would suggest for management it to have the maids mop the floor areas in bedroom not just bathroom. We had to wear our shoes while in room or our socks got black. This would not prevent me from staying at this motel again if we were at Kaiser Hospital again. Very convenient and close. I will just bring a pair of flip flops

I stayed here many, many times from 2017-2018 (long story, but was living somewhere where I literally had to grab a backpack and anything I could carry, leave and go stay somewhere else whenever the fighting got physical or otherwise out of hand). The owners were so incredibly sweet to me and even brought me dinner one night when it was too late to get dinner anywhere and everything else was closed. The room(s) are affordable and basic, some nicer or more updated than others (I think I stayed in each and every one of them at least once!). It is in a safe area, and right near Kaiser and all the hospitals. It's for sure no nonsense no frills, but the owners made sure to put nice little touches like flowers, decorations, and even a BBQ grill, where they will be useful and appreciated. This place was a welcoming and safe respite for me for so many stays. I've since moved to another state, and I never got to tell the owners THANK YOU for their wonderful hospitality, so hopefully I can tell them with this review!
