A beautifully rustic and spacious cabin with thoughtful, cozy touches throughout. Our favorite feature was the real, honest-to-goodness fireplaces, with firewood provided! The only downside is that there is another house right across the driveway, so it’s not the most private setting. The hosts were helpful but not intrusive, and the price was very reasonable. Would love to return!

Absolutely LOVED this experience! Definitely would recommend, and I hope to come back. The owners have put so much thought into the details - there's pretty much anything you could possibly need or want. It was so cozy and cute with Christmas lights over the mantle. We would have loved for it to be cold enough to use the fireplace, but we brought battery operated candles and there were a couple there already so it still felt cozy. I would recommend bringing slippers or house shoes. I forgot ours so the floor was pretty chilly in the winter. I want to come back in the spring or summer to see the garden and take advantage of the firepit.

I brought my wife here for her 60th Birthday! We were completely thrilled with the Cabin! It was SPOTLESS!! everything was just amazing! My wife loved all the little touches they have done in the Cabin, right down to the personal note from the owners! We had the best and most relaxing stay!!! WE plan on coming back and bringing our kids and staying in the bigger Cabin next time!!

The cabin was clean. The owners right of several small details to provide the best experience available that most places forget. The cabin is in a quite and easy to get to area of the main road.

A gorgeous little one-room cabin with bathroom. The owners were amazingly accommodating. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Hygge" is a danish word that cannot be fully translated into english. The closest we can get to is "cozy" or "a homey feel" (book-"The little book of Hygge"). Through it cannot fully be translated it can be experienced! I experienced "hygge"(hoo-ga) at this sweet log Cabin tucked away in Illinois. The picture does not do it justice. Its even better! With small caves of light perfectly placed throughout the space, a tall ceiling and so many quilts! The room itself is filled with warm smells of (I think its) cedar in the bathroom and maple logs burning slowly in the large stone fireplace. All it needed was some warm tea in a ceramic mug and a bathrobe (both provided). I promptly did both. It was divine.
On top of all the wonder it was so easy to get to and wasn't far from stores or restaurants.
