This place is a gem! I stayed for just a quick weekend and wanted something closer to home that wasn't over the river for ease. The rooms were perfect for a relaxing stay. It's not necessarily as big as a hotel room would be for the queen room, but that's not an issue for me at all. It was still plenty spacious with places for me to store my things, relax, and even have a quick meal. The common areas are lovely and the breakfast option was great. And one of the best pros is that the owner of the establishment, Cheryl, is sweet as can be and obviously cares heavily that you are comfortable and have everything you need. They provide personal support if needed and are just a very wonderful host.
If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, clean, and affordable stay, this is the place. I will be very happy to be back the next time I come back to visit my family in the area.

I stayed this past weekend and everything was outstanding. I communicated with both owners (who wore multiple hats). They were kind and informative. Special recognition for the cleanliness of the place. One could have manufactured microchips in my room, it was so dust free. Maybe sterilized is a better word, since i would have been comfortable having surgery in my room, it was so clean. *(No manufacturing or surgery was actually performed in my room)
Great location. Great service. Space to spread out. A thermostat that I controlled for my suite. Plenty of parking. And several amenities that i didn't have time to use, but looked pretty cool. Highly recommend.

The best stay ever! We had an issue with the snowstorm, it was too icy we had to find a place to stay fast. The hosts were so accommodating to anything we needed. They went out of their way to provide the best stay I have ever had at any hotel or establishment. This is comparable to a five star hotel.

We stayed for a week at this alternative-hotel and it had everything; great food, white-glove clean, friendly people with amazing hospitality, perfect location, and some nice amenities!

The main attraction was the food! They started with asking what we like/dislike and whether we had any dietary restrictions. I’m not a huge fan of pork and they went out of their way to prepare the best turkey bacon I have tasted! We had an amazing unique breakfast experience each morning which wasn’t repeated through the week. We are big coffee drinkers (one decaf one regular) and Waterloo Suites had a fresh carafe each morning ready for consumption! One novel experience of the Suites were the morning conversations over breakfast with everyone. It was nice getting to know locals and listening to stories of the area as well as the history of the location/owners.

I don’t believe in fairytales, but they must have a contract with the Shoemaker’s Elves with how impeccably clean the area was maintained. All common areas were dust free and the room was immaculate! Typically with this level of care, the location can smell like cleaning chemicals, but there was only fresh scents that weren’t perfume-forward.

The hosts themselves truly embody the “super host” mentality. They were extremely welcoming and willing to accommodate any and all needs/wants. The hosts were readily available via text and kept us apprised of any updates which made the experience feel more like staying with family than as just guests.

Waterloo Suites is ideally located for stays near St. Louis and visiting nearby family in Red Bud and Columbia. The neighborhood behind the suites as well was a perfect spot for a morning jog; with enough room to not back-track and sidewalks readily available.

After all of this there were still more amenities! We were able to do laundry (not coin-operated!) without fighting for a spot nor concern for our clothes in an unknown washer/dryer due to the cleanliness the establishment. In our room itself we had; a real mini-fridge (IYKYK), a nice cold dedicated AC unit, and two nice sized smart TVs that were simple to add our streaming accounts to (and were automatically cleared after our stay). Along with that the WiFi was strong and never stuttered. Lastly, as a WFR employee we had access to a conference room that allowed for a home-office-away-from-home. They even hinted at having a workout room in the future, which gives us something to look forward to next time we are in the area!

We will definitely be making this our go-to spot when staying in the area (assuming there are suites available!).

Me and my husband with our young son stayed here for a night when our campsite flooded. We were blown away with how nice it is. Our room was super clean and very accommodating with lots of little thoughtful extras. It's family owned and you can feel it. They literally went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible. It was an excellent experience and we will definitely be back!

I had the privilege of visiting and receiving a tour of this amazing facility when on site for a work visit. The level of care and respect given to their tenants by the staff was amazing. The facility is beautiful and well-kept and is the type of place that any child would want their parent to be in. Great Staff, Great Care, Great Facility. 10Stars!!!!!
