Usually I stay at the BI across the street and had never really noticed this place. It was super cute! The room is quirky rustic-ish, but it was large enough and quiet. Comfortable beds. Mini fridge. We had a river view room. The porches are cute and the lawn area would be fun in warmer weather. Temperature control was interesting with the baseboard heater (too cold, then too hot...) but easily remedied, no biggie. Showerhead had good pressure and immediate hot water but the shower head itself kind of had "needle jet stream" or not enough water distribution - my only strong recommendation for update. We didn't have any concerns with parking. Staff was soooo friendly (front desk lady, adorable). Clear policies (no late check out, for example). Hopefully later in the season the pool and hot tub open. Definitely will stay again!

Such a great place to stay. We stayed here for a night between skiing in Tahoe and skiing in Mammoth as everything in Mammoth was full. A easy drive into Mammoth to ski. The rooms are clean and comfortable and Roxanne is so friendly and accommodating. We’d highly recommend staying here and will do so again ourselves for sure. An added bonus was that we forgot something in the room when we left and Roxanne called us and offered to mail it to our home address which was so kind. Thank you!

We stayed in this very quaint motel for one night at the end of March. Roxanne, who gave us a very friendly welcome, gave us a very nice room 41 with a view of the mountains. Everything was very clean, the bed was excellent and we felt totally comfortable. We would stay here again at any time.

Thinking back on my trip from Oregon to San Diego, I feel disappointed by many of the lodging choices I made, two nights in San Diego and I've got hundreds in deposit money still tied up a week later, a booking error lead to hundreds in tied up funds, some of the crumbiest hotel rooms I've ever seen cost $200 a night, which hotel did not disappoint Then I remembered, this one, from the first night of the trip! We loved this hotel. It was a positive beginning to the trip. I recommend this one 💯 and if it helps, they offer two rooms with a hideaway sofa bed and two regular bed for a amazing price. If you're with a larger group, go here! And thank you to walker river Lodge 😊

We stayed at Walker River Lodge for one night, and I wouldn’t have stayed any longer. There were mice in our room! In the morning, our bags had holes chewed in them, and one mouse even fell out of my husband’s backpack when we were rushing to leave.

Clean! This is an older motel but it is clean and comfortable and that is the most important to me. The parking lot is tight, but you can park in front of your room. I thought we would hear the traffic more, but the room was quiet. The bed was comfortable with a lot of pillows. The furniture is a little rough (TV stand) but it works and it was good to have a microwave and frig. We didn't use the pool, but other people seemed to enjoy it. This motel is in walking distance to anywhere you'd need to go in town. We'd stay here again if we are in the area.
