My daughter got married here in August, 2024 with an evening wedding. The wedding was beautiful and a lot of fun. The staff was really nice and helpful. My daughter's wedding coordinator left a couple of weeks before the wedding, but her new coordinator, Alexis, was really great, & responsive so it worked out just fine. My daughter used a venue recommended DJ, Beet Fleet, and they were really great. I've read the other reviews and of course not every wedding is going to be problem free, but this wedding experience was absolutely fantastic. A few things didn't go as planned, but the venue was quick to correct any problems, and the coordinator Alexis stayed on top of things. There were about 100 people and no one really had parking problems. We just happen to luck out with an 85 degree evening in August in Sacramento, but the venue had a contingency plan to move indoors quickly after the ceremony in the event of too much heat. The venue supplied bartender for the event was wonderful. I can't imagine a better experience.

Vizcaya was an amazing venue! Their professionalism, communication, attention to detail and organization was one of the best experiences I had with a vendor and they were so pleasant to work with! Would definitely use them again. They took care of everything we needed, made great suggestions, and we felt supported through the whole process. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding than Vizcaya! The location is absolutely breathtaking, and it looked like something out of a fairy tale as the sun set during our ceremony. The atmosphere at dusk was magical, with the lights twinkling and everything perfectly set to capture that dreamy ambiance we were hoping for.
From start to finish, the Vizcaya team was incredible. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our vendor schedules and even made last-minute time changes work without a hitch. The bridal suite was the ideal space for getting ready, spacious and elegant, creating a relaxing and fun environment for us and our bridal party.
Our rehearsal the day before was seamless, and the staff ensured everything went smoothly and kept us all calm and organized. Even when we had an unexpected change in coordinators, our new coordinator, Andrea, didn’t miss a beat. She jumped right in and brought such positive energy, making sure every detail was handled – and we were lucky enough to have another venue coordinator, Haley, come on board for our rehearsal and for the big day – her help was absolutely invaluable! All in all, Vizcaya and its amazing team made our wedding day unforgettable, and we’re so grateful for the exceptional service and stunning setting they provided!

This was a quaint old style British hotel. Definitely takes you back in time, it's an old mansion house turned into rooms. They have a certain vibe, don't expect modern, expect simple and elegant.

The highlight for us was the back patio, which provided the perfect setting for our open-air selfie booth setup. Surrounded by greenery and soft lighting, the outdoor space offered a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. It was an ideal spot for guests to capture fun moments against the backdrop of the venue’s exquisite garden and serene ambiance. The patio is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers both shade and sunshine, making it a versatile spot for any event.

Wow, staying here is turning out to be a truly nightmarish experience. Considering that myself and my daughter were just awakened at 11:30 pm to someone forcefully trying to enter our hotel room repeatedly (with an incorrect key?) Then again about 5 minutes later to the drunken party bros shouting and barfing downstairs. Jesus. I paid a lot for this room since the largest suite was the only one available for two nights. Unbelievably bad people 😳 You might want to consider separating your event crowd from your basic lodging crowd a wee bit more.

When I checked in there was still food leftover in the mini fridge in the room from the previous occupants. There was also trash left behind that my partner and I found under the bed. It’s a beautiful old mansion but I wouldn’t book this place again.

Pretty on the outside, dated on the inside, but fine for a wedding. Bathroom didn't seem to have ventilation. Parking is limited to 2 hours all around the block. Staff wasn't helpful at all- guests could not figure out how to get inside the building. They never unlocked any of the front entrances.
