Great cabins, everything you need to cook, right on the lake, beautiful cabins. Lots of room to spread out. Bob, the owner is thoughtful,is sure to provide you safe, conscientious, clean, and affordable lodging. Nothing but good things to say. If you need lodging in lake county, try Vista del Lago, and forgot about the usual hotels. You'll be glad you did.

Awesome place to stay, and you definitely get your money's worth. I rented the hot tub room for $109 a night. Wonderful management team. And very clean and tidy. Only reason I didn't give it a 5, was because of the lake smelling so horrible. If the place was anywhere else I'd have given it a 5+5 rating.

I almost didn't want to write a review because I want this place to stay a secret. ||||About 22 of my friends (mostly couples) and I rented out Vista del Lago over New Years. We rented the house and all of the cabins for three nights. We live in San Francisco and were looking for somewhere to get away and have a fun New Years. This was the absolute PERFECT spot. It's also dog friendly so I was able to bring my mutt along which was a HUGE plus.||||First of all, Bob was the nicest and most accommodating host. He was there when we showed up, showed us around and even came back on New Years day to fix the hot tub for us. I have nothing but nice things to say about Bob, he's truly the best. I also spoke to his wife and daughter on the phone when booking and before coming and they were wonderful too! ||||The lake itself if beautiful and made a perfect backdrop. It was a little colder than we were used to but we stayed warm at the fire pit. The grounds themselves are great. We all had privacy and SO many places to hang out. There is a full sized bar, fire pit, dock, two decks, hot tub, pool table room downstairs in the main house and a big living room upstairs. There were also really cool LED lights around the property. We could not have asked for a better adult playground. We brought our own boombox and stayed outside laughing, playing games and listening to music into the wee hours with no problems from neighbors. ||||The main house and cabins are a bit outdated but that's what you can expect for what a deal this place is. Honestly, don't come here if you are expecting something super fancy. I would suggest coming up here if you are looking for a fun get away spot for a group or a relaxing weekend on the lake. ||||Not one person in our large group did not love this place. We are already talking about next trip to Vista del Lago in the summer and are planning on spending next NYE there. What a find!

We rented the house and a few cabins for our weekend retreat. The lake views were lovely and the outdoor space was nice with a fire pit and plenty of chairs. I liked that the place was air conditioned and felt good especially during the summer heat. However, we saw some roaches in both the house and cabins. The downstairs bathrooms had plumbing issues and the toilets leaked and flooded the bathrooms and outside of it.

From the moment we arrived, the manager made us feel at home. The cottage was fantastic! Yes it was old school but artistically decorated. Very clean. The kitchenette had everything! But that's only the beginning. Their yard in the back was a touch of HAWAII! BBQ, Hot tub, A tiki house, hammock, so much to do. The owner was there and was
wonderful. They even provided pizza for the guests! My family enjoyed themselves. We stayed an extra night just because. Thanks so much!! This is a diamond of a place.

We came here for our honeymoon and the hostess was very accommodating. We told them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded us and left snacks and drinks in our room along with a congratulatory card. I let them know I was pregnant so instead of a bottle of champagne they left sparkling cider with two wine glasses in a bucket of ice and filled our private hot tub with lukewarm water instead of hot which was very thoughtful. Great lake views and recreational area with badminton, fire pits, a pier, and romantic lighting. We had our two dogs with us which they were fine with and there was a nice grassy area for them to run around. Would stay here again; was a great deal for the price.

There are no four star hotels in Clearlake, however if you are looking for a place to stay that is clean and comfortable then this is a good fit. We had our own hot tub and grill outside our room. The cottages are good size. They are undergoing some renovations trying to keep the place up to standards. The staff was nice and helpful. We took a tour through the lake house. Very big and a great place for a weekend party.

These cottages are small and cute. We booked a $60 a night room and got a free upgrade to the cottage with a private hot tub! You are located right on the main road for easy shopping and dining, but it somehow remains quiet and quaint. Our cottage had character, but everything was clean and working! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We will be back.
