I normally love this place. My nails usually last 2 to 3 weeks if not longer. But I went in on a Monday to have my nails done for a Christmas party and literally by the following Monday eight of the nails were popping off!
I went in to get them fixed and all they did was put a little glue on each of them. I've done it with the glue before and they'll still pop off in a day or two. They asked me if I wanted to get them filled so they would stay on and I said yes but they still only use the glue! Then when I talked to the gentleman to ask him what do I do if they end up popping off in a day or two and he said well you don't have the time or we would have taken them off and redid them. I said I do have the time though. So he talks to the person and he says that since it's been a week that they can only give me a discount on it! Absolutely ridiculous! I paid over $70 and tipped to have my nails done and you're going to only give me a discount to fix something that should have not been happening this soon! Definitely not pleased and don't see myself coming back.
The photos are from the same day they that they dropped some glue behind each of them. By that night they were all popping again. 😒

So thankful for Cynthia! My nail tech that moved recommended her and she’s amazing! She even improvised with the snowflakes and gem to make it more neat. She is very personable and I got comfortable with her quick.

I came to this salon based off of these reviews. PLEASE GO READ THE YELP REVIEWS BEFORE COMING HERE!! There’s multiple people with the same issues I’m having all within a month. Wish I would have read those over these!

First impression was amazing. Friendly staff, clean, and seemingly excellent service. Then I got home and actually looked at my nails (fingers and toes) and they’re splotchy and multiple colors. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks for years and I’ve never had this happen. I don’t know if they’re using old product or what, but this is unacceptable! Don’t waste your money here!

** update to add - 2 days later and the gel is now PEELING OFF!! I have NEVER had such a terrible set of nails. 100% would never recommend coming here!

I normally stick to my on the regular nail techs Mandy/Tallie, Iknow a few others that are very good and take pride in their skills, but sometimes with work and being busy I’ll find myself just scheduling appointments with random techs and I’m almost always disappointed in the way they don’t even try with your nails. Picture doesn’t do justice they’re just not done right .. let’s see how long they last 😫

I had a great experience at VIP nails! I had Vicki as my manicurist. She did a full set of tips and acrylic nails. She did an excellent job!! Hand painted hearts! Beautiful! Thank you Vicki!!

Apart from a language barrier mishap and slight misunderstanding at the start of services, thankfully they had an interpreter on site that was able to clearly communicate what I had wanted effectively and my nails and feet turned out exactly the way I wanted and was hoping for, I will be a returning client, the place was very well kept, inviting, comfortable and relaxing and organized, i liked that they had a check in system instead of just letting you know to take a seat and wait, i didn't have to wait at all despite being 10 min late. they took their time and were very meticulous and thorough with their process, they offered me something to drink and set me up with the each service separately so that I could actually enjoy them individually instead of having to do my hands and feet at the same time. And even when there was some confusion on what service I wanted, they were very understanding and patient with me and made sure that what I wanted was clearly understood. By far the best nail salon experience I ever had. I had only panned on giving a few bucks tip for each service cause I was tight on funds but they didn't charge me extra for french glittertip gel polish, which normally is advertised to do. They even gave me a late mothers day discount even though it was weeks past mothers day but it was a belated mothers day gift and they honored that which was very generous of them, I decided to give each technician that did my service 10 dollar tip instead of a few bucks. Thanks VIP nails. I will be back
