We were greeted warmly upon arrival. Very friendly and helpful front desk and concierge. House keeping was slacking. Our room was out of a lot of things like sheets, shampoo, and soap. It was brought up to us as soon as we requested. The dryer didn’t work, but was replaced the day after reporting it. Great location near Napa with easy shuttle service. All in all, satisfactory and would stay again.

We had a great experience all the way through. Though we only used this as a place to rest our heads for the night, we did not take advantage of any of the amenities. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Only shame was that we had two rooms and they do not have adjoining rooms, nor did they place us in two rooms that share the entrance areas. I called and requested the rooms be placed together but they were not.

I had a great check in experience, being welcomed with champagne! I enjoyed my experience at Vino Bello. I had no idea it was part of the Meritage: such a happy surprise. The resort is wonderful. My partner and I enjoyed walking on the grounds and exploring the restaurants and activities on site. For the room, I'm glad I was able to have both of my requests fulfilled: a room at the top floor with a view. I enjoyed the suite and the wine provided upon entry. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. I look forward to staying at Vino Bello again!

Do you expect top notch service from a resort owned by a sketchy timeshare company? No. Did it meet my already low expectations? Nope

Three flickering lights in our room. None of the soap, shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion dispensers were refilled. Some were even completely empty.

Complimentary mouthwash container (which had been used) hadn’t been replaced. This doesn’t even include the multiple similar issues my in laws experienced in their rooms.

If you squint your eyes, maybe this might look like a four star resort; look any closer and you realize just how unmaintained everything is.

We have been visiting Vino Bello for over ten years. This year we noticed a decline in site maintenance and services provided. We had two one bedroom rooms. It took 3 hours for a response for repair which only happened because we followed up to the request. Another request took four hours for additional bed blankets since there was a draft coming in from the back door. The request made around 10:30 pm and had to go in person as it was not being done thru phone requests to the front desk at 2 pm and insist to get it handled. This was not good service!

Our stay was pleasant. Had a glitch at the check in but staff went out of their way to make it right. Just two notes- air conditioner was very loud and we had to turn it off at night. Parking is extremely limited, many cars on the street.
The restaurants on site are good. Had a dinner and breakfast while there.

Shared the same thing for Meritage resort and spa. Some things are shared resources and some are not. Room we had was t much different than a hotel but distance to desired places required a car. We stayed through a family member’s last Timeshare points, glad we’re not members of a timeshare. Nice but not worth the hassle and fees IMHO. Rooms did have laundry which is a plus. Since you have to use a car I gave a 4th star for location since it’s directly tied to a highway so access in and out was fairly easy.

All was good until I used jetted tub! OMG once water and bubbles drains blackish/gray scum coated the entire tub! I called front desk and housekeeper came and clean but of course didn’t use again! About 48 hours later I had a severe UTI on antibiotics but culture grew bad bacteria so currently on 2 strong antibiotics! This has ruined Xmas. Please beware if using jet tub!!! I called resort to file complaint but only received recording.
