I honestly don’t think this place deserves the 4.7-star rating it has. My visit was quite the letdown, especially considering all the high praise and excitement surrounding it. We opted for the limited edition wine tasting, which was $40 per person—definitely the most expensive option. I went in with high expectations, but unfortunately, none of the five wines I tasted impressed me.

To be completely honest, I couldn’t even finish two of the wines—they were just undrinkable. I ended up tossing them out, something I’ve never done at a tasting before. The others weren’t much better; they tasted like a harsh, sugary fireball shot, and I couldn’t get through them either.

I really wanted to enjoy the experience, especially with the reputation this place has. But for me, the wines just didn’t live up to the hype or the price. I understand taste is subjective, but I left feeling disappointed and, frankly, a bit frustrated.

It’s unfortunate because the location is lovely, and the staff was friendly. But when it comes to the wine, I can’t say I’ll be back or recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed the open house last Sunday. I received the invitation to see their new tasting room on Ramada and was welcomed with a smile and much appreciation when me and my dog Sailor arrived & was handed a delicious glass of wine and found my friends. The food and service was great and being the owner of a staffing company - Central Coast Party Helpers, I have to say I was impressed with how everything was organized, clean, hospitable and the waitstaff was on top of it. I’m looking forward to more experiences like this one and planning some events there as well!

We always love Vina Robles’ winery on Hwy. 46, but the new space is spacious, comfortable and very convenient. The wine club event this weekend was far better than before without annoying limits on the food tastings. It was also cool to get to sample the Martin Ray wines. I was wondering if I would keep my wine club membership under the new ownership, but they won me over and then some. Great job!

This was our first visit and we wont be back. Our server kept saying they were short staffed and they were over-booked. That isn’t my concern. They have a cozy area for ā€œmembers onlyā€ on one side and everyone else goes on the other side. To get to the bathroom you had to walk through the members only seating. It felt like major segregation & not welcoming at all. The vibe felt ā€œsnootyā€. Not impressed by wine we tasted. The outside of the tasting room looks nice and they have an amphitheater.

The best wine tasting in Paso. Also the cheese plate was excellent. Like mostly reds, however the whites were very good. Still enjoying the wines we purchased. Looking forward to our next trip to Paso.

I don't even know where to begin. The service is beyond amazing. The history of the winery is fascinating. The wine ALL THE WINE is amazing. Took home a Rose'. Let's move on to the food. Bruschetta was BOMB...flavors were so tasty. The chicken sandwich with the homemade slaw had me drooling. The portobello mushroom burger with caramelized onions OMG best combination of flavors ever. We will be back again and again and again!

🤩 WOW, just WOW!!! Not sure I can adequately articulate our dining experience. Out of all the incredible meals we’ve had in Paso Robles this week, this was hands-down our absolute favorite! Today for lunch we delighted our senses with a memorable five-course wine & food pairing that was a symphony of flavors and textures that left us both speechless after each bite. This melodious experience was prepared and personally served to us by Head Chef Joshua Jones who provided an explanation with colorful detail what he prepared for the two of us.

If you are looking to have your tastebuds tantalized and a feeling evoked you can’t put your finger on, please visit Vina Robles and request the ā€œWine & Food Experienceā€ (reservations recommended).
