A lot to like here, very clean! Receptions staff are really excellent, nice quiet area, especially in January. Hiking trails are nearby.|However in serious need of updating especially the bathrooms which are out of the 1970's. Some rust noticed on the fixtures and shelves.|Hot tub was clean and in fair condition. Mattresses need updating for sure.

Great hot tub out back of Master bedroom. Great hikes that are close. Cute little town. Front desk people were nice and helpful. Workout room is modest. Pool Table and ping pong were fun. The old truck was just around the corner. Fun stuff. Amazing sunrises and sunsets.

We would've stayed longer if we could, and we'll definitely stay here again if possible. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We had everything we needed and more. I was impressed by their attention to detail. Staff was so friendly. The pools and game area were great for all, ages 4-67. Parking was close, and it was easy access to the sometimes busy main road with the 4-way stop ensuring we could get where we wanted to quickly.

This is our second rodeo at the Villas of Cave Creek (villa 25 in 2019, and now villa 4!), and let me tell you, these folks know how to make a Dutch family feel right at home... albeit a significantly warmer and sunnier home!

The villas themselves are brilliant – two stories of pure vacation bliss. Three bedrooms mean no fighting over who gets which corner (mostly), and two full bathrooms are a lifesaver when you're trying to get a family out the door. Plus, three TVs! Because sometimes, you just need to escape into different shows after a hard day of relaxing.

The private jacuzzi? Don't even get me started. It's seen more of us than our own bathtub back in the Netherlands. And the outdoor seating on the front porch is perfect for those morning coffees or evening "let's-just-stare-at-the-pretty-scenery" moments.
The kitchen is big and fully equipped, so you can whip up a feast (or just expertly reheat leftovers, no judgment here). Oh, and a fireplace! We haven't needed it this time of year, but it just screams cozy.

Beyond our lovely villa, the complex is fantastic. Two pools mean double the splashing opportunities, the BBQ area is great for grilling up some local delights, and the fire pit is perfect for those evening chats.
Everyone here, both staff and fellow guests, are incredibly friendly. It's like a little community of happy vacationers. The whole place is spotlessly clean too, which is always a huge plus.
The surroundings are beautiful, a real feast for the eyes. Coming from the Netherlands, the Arizona landscape and temperatures are, shall we say, different. We arrived looking like we'd never seen the sun before, but you'd be surprised how quickly you adapt when there's a pool and a jacuzzi involved. We're practically desert dwellers now!

Highly recommend the Villas of Cave Creek. We'll be back... once we've re-acclimatized to clouds and rain back home!

Very nice location, very friendly staff. Loved out stay. Kids had a blast. 24 hour pool. Private hot tub in the backyard was amazing. Very well kept and clean. Would definitely come back and would recommend.

Villas of Cave Creek Resort offers a great view of the Black Mountains. The rooms are large but very dated. Check-in was fine and staff was helpful and friendly. Parking could be better because the sap from the trees on your car is annoying. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances to cook a meal. However, there was a sign in the cabinets warning you about the cleanliness of the dishes. In the downstairs bathroom there aren’t any shelving or cabinets to place your toiletries. The gym and recreation room were adequate and clean. There are interesting western-style shops and restaurants nearby. The washer and dryer are outside as well as the private hot tub. I would stay there again but my husband did not like the 25-30 drive to Scottdale. However, if you want a quiet place with a 24hr pool then this is the place to stay.
