Matteson Water Department has been estimating my bill for the same amount every billing cycle. $152.72 who use the exact amount of water every month/cycle. I haven't used my dishwasher in over 3 yrs. because I wash my dishes by hand. I only wash my clothes once a month because I'm retired. I wash my bedding once a week. Why can't I get an actual bill, we're they actually came out and took a reading. No way my bill should be the same amount every billing cycle. I will be contacting them in person to get an answer and request an actual reading. There are no obstacles in the way for them to get an actual reading. My bill was around $85 every billing cycle. Something is just wrong/not right. I don't get an actual bill, because I'm on paperless billing and auto pay.

Just set up my water with the village as a first time home buyer and the woman I was dealing with was super pleasant. Compared to ANYONE in Kankakee County. Excited for this new town!

As a home buyer and new resident in the Village of Matteson, I am compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with the community. I had high hopes for a well-organized and friendly environment, but unfortunately, my interactions with the Village office have been far from satisfactory. The lack of professionalism, unresponsiveness, and overall disorganization have left me feeling frustrated and disheartened.
It is evident that there is a lack of proper training or supervision within the office, resulting in an inefficient and chaotic experience for residents.
It is my hope that the Village of Matteson takes immediate action to prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of its residents.

Worst town we ever lived in. Many regrets moving here. Village hall employees are rude and slow no compassion to help people. But the town is quick to hike taxes and water bill. Cant wait to move. Very disappointing. Vote better

I truly love this time of year and the concert at Matteson. I feel safe. Cook County sheriff's police, Richton Park police and if course Matteson police presence, Shuttled to and from the event. Food trucks and of course good music. Melanie Fiona and Jon B. I wish we could do this like more than that 1 time. I love it. Awesome job Matteson. Keep up the good work!

My experience with Matteson Water Billing Department has been hell. They are always so quick to disconnect water services even when the payment is pending to your account. Twice my husband and I have made online payments only to call the department for them to tell us to bring either cash money in, equaling the same exact amount we just paid or a money order equally the same amount. It's very inconvenient.

Never revive a previous red light ticket at my address
They Send red light tickets to different address
I call ,and they can’t do anything about it
They make me pay all the late fees .
