SCAMMER! See Chicago Police Report #JJ190455. Christina Young was a terrible communicator! A VRBO with no merit whatsoever! Will take all your money pre-booking and won’t refund it! BEWARE! I have stayed at VRBOS many times, but never experienced anything like this. In our case: it was March and 15-40 degrees in Chicago and there was no heat! And no wifi! We tried to contact her multiple times on the phone but she never answered. She only replied later on messaging and was of no help. When trying to log on to Xfinity, it stated service was suspended due to delinquent past bills. After leaving for a dinner reservation, she even had the audacity to lock us out of the Villa Christina by changing the passcode to the doors with all of our belongings inside!! So scary for my young children. Chicago Police Department sent 4 officers who were with us for over an hour while we tried to contact her and VRBO to gather our belongings. One of the sergeant cops finally noticed an upper back window cracked (probably adding to the chill with no heat!) and opened it up to let us in. She then accused us of breaking & entering even though the police had it all audibly and visually recorded as they helped us gather our belongings and leave the premises exactly in the condition it was upon arrival. Just a mess of an experience- want to warn everyone DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!! She could take your money and lock you out of the apartment with your belongings inside like she did to us! Crazy! Hope no one else has to lose money to this scammer!
