I heard positive news about this place, I couldn’t wait to try… months pass and I’m finally out here. First thing I notice that it was not your normal type of coffee shop but a food court. I can’t help to express that smelling other types of food while sitting and trying to enjoy your coffee makes it least enjoyable. Hearing that they roast their own coffee beans really push me to get out there and try. Disappointed….

The cashier and barista were really nice, I like that no complains there and my drink was tasty Plus coffee art a plus plus.

They don’t serve food but the other places do, its totally irrelevant but I didn’t get the same level of service from the food vendors, maybe he thought I didn’t tip after I dropped money in the tip jar, versus charging it on my card. Notice all the others getting their food brought out except for mine.

Viator clearly has a following as it was mid- afternoon on a Monday, and almost all of the baked goodies were sold out. I chose the Lavender Late' coffe and it was made with detail and love. Delicious 😋

This is truly some of the best quality coffee in the area. The Smores-tado and the Charcoal Vanilla Latte are incredible. The food here is also 10/10! Atmosphere is great especially because of the loft seating. It can be lively on the weekends, but there’s always plenty of space.

Visited this shop for the first time after getting a "surprise bag" on the Too Good To Go app. Barista informed me that I could have a large drip coffee and 2 pastries. I ended up getting a couple of their in-house made pop tarts, one berry flavor, and the other chocolate s'mores. They tasted somewhat fresh even though it was near the end of the day. The place has a nice vibe, with lots of tables and spots where you can hang out, get work done on your computer, or just chill.

My favorite coffee shop in Elgin ❤️
All their specialty drinks are amazing, but my go to espresso drink is their cortado. Always smooth, professional presentation and flavorful.

Viator is one of our favorite discoveries of Elgin. I always get the Mexican Mocha probably once a week. The market where it is also has great food options we have gotten breakfast right across from it. Coffee art is on point super vibrant flowers. Make sure to check out Viator! Still fantastic in 2025

We would highly recommend Viator Coffee for your private parties. We recently had them provide a espresso/cappuccino/specialty coffee bar at both our daughter's bridal shower and her wedding. They were responsive to our requests and the coffee drinks are great and served with expert design, customization, and presentation. They made a wonderful impression at both events.
