We had our October 2023 wedding at Rockwell on the River and it was our dream venue!

Rockwell was one of the first places we toured after first getting engaged and we were immediately in love. The warmth and rustic feel of the bricks, hardwood floors and wood beams really spoke to us and the location on the river was an added bonus. It seems massive when first looking at the entire place undecorated, but the Venue Logic team do a really nice job of helping couples create a plan on how they’d like to utilize the space and create an event flow. My husband and I did multiple walk-through meetings with a member of the Venue Logic team and our planner in the lead up to our wedding to get a feel for how our plans (and weather backup plans) would look. Our initial guest count was 150 but ended up with about 135 and it didn’t feel empty at all. In the end it felt like we used every bit of the venue while still feeling cozy – and guests told us it was the best wedding they’d been to in terms of use of space and the flow.

The Venue Logic team was super communicative, professional, and easy to work with. They also worked seamlessly with our other wedding vendors. We also worked with their in-house bar service to create a custom cocktail which was super easy as they were accommodating to all of our last-minute bar package changes. Their pricing was also transparent from the beginning which we really appreciated. Of note, they do have a list of preferred vendors for catering and floral/decor/design that they suggest you use. We found it helpful to have a narrowed down list of choices to go through at the beginning of wedding planning – especially when sometimes it felt overwhelming with how many vendor choices there are in Chicago – but realize that might be a deal breaker for some people.

We loved working with Venue Logic for our wedding at the Bridgeport Art Center! From the tour with Claire to all the help from Eleanor in the final steps, the team was so helpful. We felt taken care of during the process and they helped make recommendations as they know the venue best and what works well in it. The drinks and bartending team were also great during the day of the wedding.

Skyline Loft at Bridgeport Art Center, managed by Venue Logic, was absolutely amazing for our wedding. The venue itself was spacious, unique, and stunning, but what really stood out was the unforgettable Champagne Elevator they organized. Our guests couldn't stop raving about arriving via the charming, old-style elevator while sipping bubbly, only to step into the gorgeous main area.

Their beverage service, CraftBar, was top-notch throughout the entire evening. The bar was well-staffed, ensuring minimal lines, and the fancy clear ice used in our specialty old fashioned cocktails was a hit. Venue Logic also accommodated our request to provide specific non-alcoholic wine for a few guests, in addition to their great mocktail offerings.

We couldn't be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Skyline Loft with Venue Logic to anyone looking for an unforgettable venue!

We had an amazing experience with the whole VenueLogic/Bridgeport Art Center team. Kate, Tania, and Marcello were each very helpful and easy to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. Besides that, the space is beautiful! Our guests raved about view, aesthetic, and overall look of the Skyline Loft. Can't recommend them enough!

We had a great experience working with Venue Logic for our August 2024 wedding at The BridgePort Art Center Skyline Loft. Claire was our first point of contact who toured the venue with us. She was so kind and communicative from the beginning. We all fell in love with the venue, and she gave us some very helpful tips for the venue and recommendations for other vendors. We also worked with Adriana throughout the process who was also very helpful! We had the opportunity to work with Eleanor for our bar package. We were particular on what we wanted for our bar package and Eleanor was patient and helpful in finalizing our selections. She also eased some anxiety I had leading up to the big day by answering questions related to the venue. The bartenders all did a great job and we got many compliments on the bar from our guests, especially on the signature drinks (cosmopolitan and old fashioned). Thank you to the whole team for helping make this such a special day for us!

Working at ANY of the Venue Logic event spaces as photographers it’s a delight not only because of the endless photo opportunities but because of their curated service and experience they offer to their clients and vendors.

The Sculpture Garden, the welcome cocktail in the freight elevator, the downtown view from the Skyline Loft, the red carpet to welcome guests, the high/rustic ceilings and open spaces at Rockwell on the River, just to name a few, make these locations unique and perfect for any type of event.

One of the first things that each of our couples mention when we are planning the wedding day is their venue and how they envision each moment throughout the day (ceremony, reception and even the send off). As photographers we want to create something unique and bring those visions to life and when we work at any of their three spaces (haven’t been to their 4th one yet) we can achieve that and more because depending on the season, wedding size or style, Venue Logic’s spaces can be transformed into anyone's dream 😉

We absolutely love working with their staff and can’t recommend them enough!!!

Terrible experience. They literally ran out of alcohol during our wedding even though we had fewer people come than what we paid for. They said the bartenders didn’t know that there was more stock somewhere in the back. I simply cannot understand how that could be the case. How? How could you possibly let bartenders staff the event without knowing where the stock is?

Also, we asked that wine and cocktails be pre-made for guests to avoid lines after the ceremony. They assured us they would do this. They did not, and there were huge lines.

Champagne was supposed to be served to guests upon arrival. By our estimates, over half of the guests didn’t know that there was champagne.

It’s frustrating when you pay a lot of money for a simple service and they do not deliver on the most basic aspects of that service. I recommend using any service other than Venue Logic for your important event.

We had a great bartender Griselda at our event. She made really good lemon drops for everybody the entire night. 100% def would recommend for your next event!
