I’ve been following VR since Madison Street (RIP). The VR cold brew is superior and does not compare to anything else in the area. Their creative recipes always leave room to try something new. If you want to try something new but aren’t sure what to order, they will help you concoct something that suites your palette. While they were not offering food on opening day, I can attest to the deliciousness that is to come soon. The vibes are always high and it’s a wonderful place to chill regardless. A super easy way to keep up with happenings and new, tasty treats is to follow their insta. It’s not just coffee, it’s an experience.

I ordered the Avacado Toast (usually “toast”, egg, Avacado) but this came on an un-toasted cold bagel, Avacado, Egg-over medium (you can choose) and they topped it with bean sprouts. It really didn’t have any flavor-and most odd not on toasted bread or bagel. I didn’t care for it personally. I also ordered a Breve Latte, it was good, just it was only lukewarm…barely. Staff was excellent, atmosphere cute!!

They didn't have stuff to make bagels which I was looking forward to. The breakfast burrito was huge and filling but I wish it was a little warmer throughout. Service was quick and great, however, they weren't able to give change so the rounded up. Got the gingerbread latte, and it was okay. Didn't really taste like gingerbread.

3 stars because the icebin is uncovered all day which is so disgusting. It makes it even worse that it's open, a big opening at that, right next to the register where baristas talk and take orders on top of its right infront of where the customers stand to talk, cough, sneeze and bring in whatever dust, hair, strings, etc are stuck on their clothing that if ANYTHING falls off someone's clothing into the air it has a high possibility of floating into the icebin. On top of all the customers and baristas talking right infront of it all day absolutely unsanitary how much spit goes right into it unintentionally but reality. I really hope they fix that because I'm an iced coffee drinker only and I won't be returning because of it.

The food is good and the coffee tastes good but for sanitary reasons I won't be returning.

Went here with my wife and got a Smoothie, an iced coffee,and a breakfast burrito. Everything got high marks from the people that ate or drank their specific thing. The only complaint was that we ordered a large coffee and the cup we got looked awfully small. So, we just thought that the they had one side. Then we saw several people get larger cups. So, I would say ask about sizes when you order iced copy. However, it was really good. We will return when back in town.

Loved my time here the other morning! It was a fun and cute environment. The two women working were super kind and helpful as I deliberated which drink to get. I ultimately decided on one of their fall drinks (the Gilmore Girl) and it was delicious! I’m from Roscoe but have since moved, and I so wish we’d had a great little coffee shop like this when I lived there. If you’re looking for coffee in Roscoe/Rockton, there’s no better alternative!

I had an excellent experience at Velvet Robot this morning. They had a few hiccups with my order but made up for it with great service and delicious coffee. The ladies were accommodative and friendly! This local business is a great addition to our community; I will definitely be back.
