Fun and interesting place with a resident dog. The kids loved it and there were people there who are very friendly and ready to show you around while explaining how everything works. There's a whole lot of interesting train history and the models are really cool. Definitely worth a visit if you're in to model trains!

I love the people there, they are so nice! They almost always let me run my trains! And I love going there so much, I’m actually becoming a member in June! Great place. Great people. Great layout. Everything about the VMRA is amazing!

seen them a many times at local shows. they are one of the few clubs in Chicago that invite the public (when they can accommodate) to operate on their layout. they have a neat way for the public to run trains with their prototypical signal system.always worth a visit. kids and family love it. great club to learn what model trains are all about

The people at this club have been really Nice and accommodating and it's a Fun place to visit, especially if you like model trains.
