As seasoned travelers and wellness enthusiasts, we’ve explored destinations worldwide in search of the perfect place to unplug and recharge. Yet, nothing has ever come close to the magic of Two Bunch Palms in Desert Hot Springs—right here in our own backyard.

For over 12 years, whether living in Los Angeles or elsewhere, we’ve made it a point to visit this sanctuary at least three times a year. Each trip feels like a reset for the soul. From the moment you arrive, every detail is designed to exceed expectations. The mineral-rich hot springs, with their perfect temperature and deeply relaxing properties, provide all-day bliss. And when it’s time to rest, the cozy, beautifully designed rooms ensure the best sleep—so much so that we purchased the same bed for our home!

The on-site restaurant is another highlight. The chefs’ dedication to healthy, plant-based cuisine is evident in every dish, each crafted with thoughtful, flavorful twists. Pair that with their expertly mixed cocktails, and you’re in for an unforgettable culinary experience.

Over the years, we’ve explored other resorts in the area, but nothing compares to the unparalleled experience Two Bunch Palms offers. If you’re considering a wellness retreat, trust us—this place is in a league of its own.

Two Bunch Palms isn’t just a destination; it’s a way of life. We can’t recommend it enough.

The room was +$700 for a motel like room with paper thin walls, no where to put your belongings and we could hear our neighbors quietly talking. Bedding felt cheap. Food was okay.

The grounds are incredibly beautiful! The hot springs were spectacular. Just lacked any soul.

AWFUL - DISPUTING 4K
I booked 3 nights in the Capone suite. Upon arrival, the private soaking tub was at 120 scalding my legs immediately. Heater would not work, and pressure regulator was removed from bathroom faucet and it was backed up leading to a flood. I was given a space heater as the resolution and didn’t sleep at all. I was promised an entire room fix and continued mineral tub temperature fix and yet nothing was resolved. The manager finally moved me to another suite, only to knock on my door hours later to inform me he ā€œmade an oopsā€ and put me in a suite that had people checking in the next day. His only resolution was to put me back in the room where none of the issues had been fixed. I was left to pack up and leave an entire day early and despite being told I would receive compensation I’m now being charged over 4,000 and am disputing. Stay far away! It is not worth the money and I heard first hand from employees how many rooms were being fixed with issues and it’s why they were delayed in addition to guests who were in shock and had been questioning pricing as well for things not working properly.
Frequent traveler to luxury resorts and this is just unacceptable.

If it was much cheaper I may have given it a better review but for $600/night it’s just incredibly overpriced (for what you get).

It feels more like a 3 star resort.

What we liked:
• hot spring tubs - the few private ones that were there which isn’t very many of them. They should make more of them private with trees or shrubs
• tennis courts were fun
• felt isolated and in the wilderness

What we didn’t like:
• our room was next to the laundry room so it was very loud for a wellness resort
• rooms were ok but the bed was not very comfortable
• booking of some of the hot springs. No one follows the rules anyway so why require it. Had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time because no one at the hotel was enforcing
• no included breakfast except drip coffee and like a grab and go bar

I’ve been staycationing in Palm Springs since I was young and Two Bunch Palms is by far the most lush and beautiful oasis I’ve visited here. The property is stunning, with greenery and natural beauty everywhere you look. The hot springs are scattered throughout the grounds, are absolutely incredible—perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. On top of that, they offer yoga and a variety of balancing activities that make it easy to unwind and connect with yourself. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back to this little slice of paradise!

We are extremely disappointed with the customer service at Two Bunch Palms. We had been loyal customers for many years before the pandemic and had booked a trip prior to Covid. When the pandemic hit, we were assured that our prepaid booking would be credited for future use, with no mention of any restrictions or expiration. However, after becoming pregnant, visiting a hot spring was no longer an option for a while.

Now, when attempting to redeem our credit, we were shocked to be told that it had ā€œdisappearedā€ and could no longer be found in their system—despite having email proof, including a credit note and the original purchase price of $450 per room, which I had wisely requested at the time.

Two Bunch Palms was our go-to romantic staycation spot, but this experience has left us deeply disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

I liked staying at Two Bunch. The room was very nice except the heater is very difficult to operate. It takes a lot of patience to get it to blow warm air and no instructions are provided. The food at the restaurant was not great. We ended up driving to Palm Springs to eat as the food was expensive and not good. We loved the pools and the quiet grounds.

This is our second visit in the last 6 months. The grounds are really stunning but could look better re:maintenance. The mineral pools are great and in the evenings the sound bath in the yoga dome is really great and one of the reasons we came back. There are a lot of ironies at this place - and I guess that’s how it is. Do NOT go to the morning yoga sound healing it's painfully bad šŸ˜•
