I have used this venue on multiple occasions! There is not another venue like this in all of Alaska. The rooms are the finest accommodations any lodge has to offer and I’ve seen them all. You won’t find a better view from a lodge bay window than the ones this opulent well manicured venue has to offer. The parking is spacious, the lawn is perfection and the rugged ice capped majesty is in every direction. Roger and Arlene are the sweetest and kindest proprietors I have ever had the privilege to do business with. The property would not be what it is today without their hard work and attention to detail. You will never regret choosing Turnagain View Lodge!

We were able to have our wedding at Turnagain View Lodge. The views are spectacular, the hosts are wonderful, friendly and generous people. The lodge is clean, warm and inviting and has everything one would need for a little getaway. I highly recommend this lodge as a venue or just for an overnight comfortable stay.

My son just graduated high school. #Class of 2023. A large group of 20 people or so gathered to celebrate at the Turnagain Lodge. We started at the fire pit outside the lodge. Roger..who is one of the owners started the fire pit for us and kept the fire going until we left. Roger shared with us some stories and history of the lodge. The lodge has 3 stories and each floor has their own beautiful view of the great outdoors of the Turnagain Arm. I highly recommend Turnagain Lodge for the views and the owners make you feel as if you are part of their family. The 20 minute drive south of Anchorage is well worth the trip.

We were offered a last minute booking at the lodge after we found out our hotel was in a fire. We were blown away by the house. It was way beyond our expectations! The house has the most amazing views of Turnagain arm. The house is just as amazing as the views and I can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

Arlene is an amazing, kind, thoughtful, and flexible host. She was so kind to let us book her gorgeous place even though we did not give her much notice. We used the beautiful lodge for my sisters bridal party to get ready and it was all that we needed and more! The views are incredible, and the lodge is very clean, cozy, and well kept. We are all so glad that we will forever have special memories at this lovely location! This Lodge is a fantastic place to get together with friends/family, and enjoy the scenery. The views are breathtaking and the lodge itself is high class and accommodating. This is a great place to have an upscale event for sure. Here are a couple of notes that may help those who are planning on booking a stay:

1. You pay by the person regardless if you're having an event or not. If you are having an event where your final count isn't set in stone, be upfront with that information. Arlene was understanding and we worked it all out.

2. There is a caretaker on site who lives in a separate section of the lodge.

Overall, we had a great experience.

I was attending a research conference in Anchorage recently and the group put a couple of us up at the Turnagain View Lodge, situated on the Turnagain Arm of Cook's Inlet. From the first moment we walked in the place took my breath away. Panoramic views of the snow capped mountains were offered from just about every room of this rock-solid log home. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, as our hosts made us feel like part of their lovely family. The food was outstanding and the furnishings luxurious. I would never stay anywhere else if I'm in the Anchorage area. Thanks so much Roger, Arlene and family!!
