Don’t know why all the negative review. The location was good. Costco is 11min drive from the place. 24 hour fitness Walnut Creek is literally 13mins drive too. Convenient area. Rarely did anything, but sleep and eat. Booked the room to save me an hour and half commute to my job in the Bay Area from Central Valley. I didn’t give any STARS for the service because I didn’t use any of it so can’t give a score on things I didn’t use. Room came with a mini fridge, microwave, phone, sad a TV. Good and cheap place to book to just sleep and heat up some Costco food while you’re always up and about your day. Would definitely book it again.

NO HOT WATER! Not a lick of hot water for my shower or shave in the morning. Unacceptable. I mentioned it during checkout and was ignored. Hallway was about 100 degrees. Windows have blinds but no curtains so the sun was peeking through at 6:30 am. Was not provided a Wi-Fi password. Sheets were stained. Not sure if they change out the comforter between guests. Tv channel lineup is very minimal. The bed itself was reasonably comfortable so I’m grateful I was able to get at least a few decent hours of sleep.

It was a dusty room and the hot water doesn’t get hot in the morning only at night time and the towels were filthy and the coffee maker didn’t have the tray to make coffee and they have a kitchen in the room that they keep locked and they charge you $100 deposit that is in very small print that I wasn’t aware of until I checked in and it’s mandatory so if u book online make sure u notice the small print about deposits only a good hotel of it’s location. This was my experience

This place is an absolute joke. They charged my card 2 times for 1 night. I went to the front desk to ask why I had 2 charges for $118 and was told that it would be returned the next day. I was also charged a security deposit of $100 that was never returned in a smoking room that was returned clean. The guy at the front desk is the rudest person with the most disrespectful customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve reported this guy for fraud to my credit card company. I filed a police report with the local police department to inform them about the fraud that took place. This guy hasn’t given any resolution except scream and tell me to leave. We are shocked the owner/operator treats guests this way. I do not recommend this place it’s not safe for you, your friends or your family. If you plan to have a bad experience and get robbed of your money then come here.

The smoke detector in my room was beeping upon arrival and wouldn’t stop until the front desk attendant came to assist me. That’s the only reason I’m giving this place any stars at all, because customer service was incredibly polite. However, the room floor was dirty. It wasn’t my best experience….

Positive: "" Negative: False advertising. They said they had a pool and a hot tub and neither one of them even had water. Also, the smoke detectors kept chirping and waking us up throughout the night it was horrible. Plus the check in office smelled so bad.

It was a fine stay. The room was clean and seemed recently renovated, but the room had no lamps just 3 overhead lights 1 in the main room set back close to the bathroom, 1 by the sink area and the last one by the shower stall and toilet. The room did have a phone but it didn't work, not even to call the front desk. The reason I know that is because they did not provide the WiFi info at check-in. There is both a pool and hot tub on the premises but neither were running or even filled. Sizeable parking for guest and it is just about a mile to BART so easy to get to regardless of mode of transportation. They do not provide breakfast, and I found only 1 option worked in their drink vending machine which was Coke.

SCAM ALERT! IDENTITY THEFT! I came in on a very late flight. My booking was through expedia. I called the front desk to let them know that I was going to be late (mindnight-ish).
I arrive at the property, and there is a little security counter through which they do business at night. You can't enter the lobby and walk up to the front desk. I am fine with this. Safety first and all that.
HOWEVER, when it comes to paying for the security deposited, the guy says that he needs my credit card PIN!
I say, give me the machine, and I'll put the PIN in so the transaction can go through. NO GO! He says he needs the PIN. He says that I have to tell him my PIN, and then he will enter it into the machine. I explain that even my bank doesn't know my PIN and that with my credit card and PIN, he essentially has access to my entire credit limit.
I offered to come in and enter the PIN, but he said that the doors are closed, so the only way was for me to disclose my PIN.
I tell him no. He gives me back my passport and card, and we are done.
12:35am and I'm high and dry with a work meeting starting at 8am the next day.
I walked over to Motel 6 across the street and got a room there. I DIDN'T have to give Motel 6 my PIN! I got a refund from Expedia because they called the Travel Lodge, and the guy at the front desk started swearing at Expedia as well.
Anyway, DO NOT BOOK HERE! If they are this lax with PIN security, I can't imagine what they do with all your personal information! I wouldn't be surprised if your identity gets stolen a few weeks after your visit.
