I stumbled upon Tranquility Spa when I was eating nearby, and this is a true hidden gem! Clean, professional, deceptively big, and a fantastic massage!! I had Nancy as my therapist and I walked out feeling like Jello. The prices are also reasonable so you don’t have to treat this like a “splurge.” Instead you can regularly engage in self-care. I will definitely be back!

I've now been back to see skilled Nancy W. (Walnut Creek) on several occasions, and am no longer in crisis. And I'm back to running, which is life. I plan to continue to see her every week for help with posture and longevity. She has a plan and executes that plan! Original review..... I was in crisis with mid-back issues. My first time with Nancy W., and she located and went right to work on the spot of primary need. She was responsive, with plenty of strength to get at areas where it was needed. I got just the massage that I felt was needed, very pleased.

A completely mediocre massage. The facility is large and looks nice and the staff are friendly and all, but they just did an OK job. I got a 1hr deep tissue massage and parts of it were great and parts of it were bone on bone (elbow to base of skull) and just painful. The sheets felt rough and cheap and they didn't use an ankle support for the first part of the massage, which didn't feel great. Also, this is the first time that I've been a new customer at a massage therapist / spa and filled out now paperwork (liability, health history, injury history, etc.) and had basically no discussion or interaction with the therapist before they got to work, which made the whole thing feel impersonal.

My husband and I have been there for a couple’s massage. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The receptionist is friendly, and she remembered us the second time we went back there.

We knew Jenny and Nancy from their sister location, Serenity in Concord, and that is why we tried Tranquility. Jenny is very thorough, and she always finds the areas that need more attention. Nancy is very strong and skillful. Both ladies are highly recommended!

I have been searching for a go-to spa/massage spot for years and I may have finally found it. Through the days of working from home, hunched over a computer, and playing sports, I've needed to get some knots worked out. I'm glad I found Jenny at Tranquility Spa. I had a sports massage and it was honestly one of the best -- a unique balance of relaxing, therapeutic, and good pressure (too often at other places, it's either a painful elbow or not enough pressure). Overall a great experience from the front desk, through the massage, and even through check out. Thank you!
