Iโ€™ve been attending strength and conditioning classes at the Training Zone for 8 months. As a previous military family, weโ€™ve been afforded the ability to be apart of some fantastic gyms around the US and this one ranks up there in one of my top 3 favorites. Everything is just done right, from coaches, staff, to equipment. You can tell this place is well run and people truly enjoy working here. Itโ€™s a wonderful environment to step into and I miss the gym on my rest days. The workouts are designed to always keep your body guessing and you get pushed really hard, harder than I would ever push myself alone. However, the coaches are vigilant and class sizes are small enough that they are making sure you arenโ€™t doing anything that will cause an injury. I highly recommend the Training Zone!

I still see that some members have restrictive access, but are not stopped and questioned by staff members. My retiree benefits indicate that I'm supposed to have a FREE membership, but I'm being charged $15 a month. Training Zone must stay consistent. If it's granted for one, it should be granted to all. Other than that, I don't have many complaints. May some new treadmills would be nice!

The Training Zone has offered many of us seniors a place to stay on track for our health and give us opportunities to socialize with like minded people. The Training Zone staff is so wonderful. They are Welcoming and helpful all the time. It is a part of my life regimen and makes for a fun retirement.

I am extremely satisfied with the Training Zone! Both staff and patrons are friendly and kind. This is the only gym I will attend. Shout out to Renee, my very capable and caring personal trainer. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ

The most unprofessional gym I've been to. It's run by a lot of high school students and extremely overpriced for the worst gym in Grass Valley. Also, don't take your kids here if you don't want them in front of a TV or sitting in soiled diapers. The teenage girls in there are constantly on their phones, gossiping and not paying attention. All the kids are in one small room- little and big kids. I picked up my son several times with poopy diapers and the last straw was when one of the girls wanted to argue with me and make excuses as to why he had been sitting in his soiled diaper for so long. Her response was "well, we don't change their diapers unless they let us." Um, if that was the case then he would never get his diaper changed and he's not even TWO! Or at least notify me so I can change his diaper.

The setup inside is really odd and not to mention being in a shopping center with terrible parking. Save your money and go to South Yuba Club or better yet- just don't join here.

Training zone is such a family oriented gym. Everyone on staff is so friendly and encouraging. After starting classes and getting to know people, you miss one day and everyone's asking what happened. The combat class is one of my favorites, you burn a ton of calories and it's fun. The majority of their classes are included in your membership too. Love my gym!

While I was in town I had a great experience at The Training Zone. The staff was really friendly, especial Landon. Always there to answer any questions and I even saw Landon helping others with their form to prevent injuries -- nothing shows a gym cares about their members more than wanting them to stay healthy and injury free by sharing knowledge and not just reserving it for only "paid training" members.

I was also pleasantly surprised how clean the gym was. Lots of members using the disinfectant wipes strategically placed around the gym. The staff was tiding up and reracking weights almost hourly -- none of the big box gyms do that near me -- it's always a mess with them. Training Zone was tidy and organized. The bathrooms were really clean too.

I love how they adjust the music at night to better fit the attendees. The 70s rock isnt a good fit when everyone in the weight room was born in the 90s haha, but Landon and the other staff tuned the music to be more contemporary and upbeat during the evenings to keep the energy level up.

Whenever I'm back in town I'm definitely going back to The Training Zone. Hands down the best all around gym in Grass Valley.
