The drinks and everything inside the venue is pricey, but very good... The venue is a great place to see your favorite group. Because of the breeze off of the bay in the evenings, you should take a sweatshirt and some long pants. But even on a hot evening, it cools down beautifully.

This is a great venue to see concerts. It is easy to get to, not like Shoreline. We have been here 3 times in the last month and had a blast every time. Megadeath, Lindsey Stirling, ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd!

Crazy crowd, meaning it was a sold out concert of 11,000.
Staff was amazing, from the parking people to the staff inside the Pavilion. Concert was the best. Maybe once in a lifetime with EWF and Chicago together. What a spectacular experience.

Concert Review: Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, and The Outlaws at the Pavilion

I had the pleasure of attending a concert headlined by Lynyrd Skynyrd with ZZ Top, and The Outlaws as the opener. I wasn’t aware The Outlaws were even part of the lineup, which led to me missing most of their set while grabbing food and using the bathroom. I wish the promoters or venue had made it clearer that The Outlaws were kicking off the show—I would have arrived earlier if I had known.

The pavilion itself was solid, though. I parked in general parking to avoid fees, but be prepared for an uphill hike to the venue. There are no benches on the way in, and even by the food trucks, there were no places to sit. It wasn’t ideal, but the bathrooms were clean, and there were plenty of food and beer vendors to keep the lines moving.

My only advice is to plan your beer and bathroom breaks carefully. If you go between bands, you’ll probably miss a couple of songs, as I did during The Outlaws’ set. Luckily, I made it back in time for their last song and got to enjoy the rest of the night.

ZZ Top was fantastic—Billy Gibbons didn’t disappoint at all. Seeing them live was a real treat, and they had the crowd on their feet. As for Lynyrd Skynyrd, I decided to call it a night after they played “Simple Man,” so I didn’t stick around for “Free Bird,” but the venue was packed almost to capacity.

Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, it was a five-star night at the pavilion. Seeing these legendary bands in one place was an experience I’m glad I didn’t miss. Just wish someone had told me The Outlaws were opening!

Great outdoor venue. The front area of seats has shade while waiting for the show, which is a pleasant change from most outdoor places. The parking is free with your ticket and well laid out with people directing traffic after the show is done. There are many options for drinks, but not as many for food. The food options that were there were good but would like more variety. I was able to bring in an empty water bottle to fill at Yeti water stations as well. It's still a five-star spot based on everything else, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

This venue is very nostalgic to me which could be why I am giving it 5 stars, but to me this place is perfect for concert lovers! Plenty of seating, huge mosh area, and an open lawn for smoking/lounging. There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the entrance, so do be warned about getting some steps in, uphill at that. I’ve seen many of bands here including Slipknot, Gojira, Lorna Shore and even Mastadon. Every time I’ve had a great experience here.

Great place. It’s massive. Expect to get some steps in because there is a walk up a hill to get to the venue. Everything is very well organized from the parking to the merch.

This show was amazing. Saw Foo Fighters for the first time. Getting to see Dave Grohl live in the flesh was like getting to meet rock and roll Jesus, dying, getting resurrected by rock and roll Jesus, and then getting invited out to drinks with him.

Dave Grohl can move. The guy runs around the stage like he’s a young 20 year old man despite being in his 50’s. And the endurance to sing and play and scream for 3 hours straight is just worthy of the highest awe.

The staff were very nice. The lines were orderly. Everything really seemed to just go off without a hitch. Even the bathroom lines weren’t that long. Props to the employees and the event staff.

Overall an excellent outdoor venue. Sound quality was excellent. We sat in the uncovered seats and were quite comfortable, especially after the sun set. Not the worst prices on concessions I've seen, but still outrageous.
