Town & Country Inn and Suites - Quincy, Illinois

We stayed three nights while in town for a bowling tournament. This hotel is quite nice. We had a king room with tons of space on the 2nd floor. Pull out couch/bed too. All the other room amenities that you would expect. Every employee that we met was very friendly including the front desk folks as well as the breakfast helpers. Breakfast itself was more than adequate with real plates and silverware! (So much nicer than the Hamptons and the Fairfields!). Only two small complaints - TV reception not so good (Direct TV) and it was a bit warm in the breakfast area all 3 mornings. However, 5 stars overall. We would definitely stay here again. 😀

The good:
Hotel is nice and clean, spacious rooms and nice staff. No complaints about the environs of the hotel. Bathroom was clean and shower was nice.

The Bad: Breakfast was very disappointing- powdered eggs swimming in water and pseudo sausage links. "coffee bar" is just a large vat of weak coffee. Blasting Fox News to the breakfast room is pure torture, put on ESPN or anything other than that drivel.

We left and went to McDonald's a couple blocks away to feed ourselves, we were expecting a nicer spread after how nice the rest of the place is.

We stayed here on our family trip down south and on the way back up. We really like the big rooms (double kings) and the friendliness of the staff. We all enjoyed the continental breakfast. The pool and hot tub were used and enjoyed as well. Smart thinking on the guy checking us in in the evening, he showed us a post it note saying the pool was open so the kids wouldn’t get excited in case we weren’t going to swim.

Absolutely could not have been snowed in at a better location. This was a wonderful experience. The rooms and lobby were beautiful and clean. All of the staff I encountered were pleasant and polite however, The evening desk attendant Mark was amazing. He was so very hospitable. So very friendly. I enjoyed his positive attitude and helpful nature. He really was an asset to the overall experience.

Everything about the room was wonderful. For starters, there is lots of room to move around in the room. You don’t have to sidestep anywhere! The bathroom is small enough for convenience, but not the least cramped. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean.|The only dissatisfaction I had was with the Saturday breakfast. There were no eggs, bacon, or sausage. I can’t eat biscuits and gravy nor any of the gluten containing options. Sunday was much better!

First time staying here. Beautiful hotel! Very cozy sitting area with fireplace near the registration desk. Our room was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was ample and tasty. We will stay here whenever we visit Quincy.

Very nice location, huge parking lot! Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and fresh. I really think the atmosphere and decor of this place is very fancy! Highly recomend⭐

One of the largest hotel rooms I've ever been in. Very comfortable bed, while the rest of the hotel looks very traditional and quaint. Bathroom amenities are in large quantities in the shower, which means less waste of tiny plastic bottles. Walls may be a bit thin, I felt like I heard my neighbor watching TV at 4 in the morning. Breakfast is pretty standard with lots of bread, cereal and yogurt options. We only stayed one night but my husband managed to lose our water bottle which they found for us and returned so very happy with the customer service!
