My husband and I always end our date nights here! Literally my favorite bar in town and so happy they added food to the menu! The bartenders are the sweetest and since the first day we walked in we were made to feel welcome! Love all the ages that walk in and karaoke night is legit my favorite nights especially 50s night!! Love the little gambling room and love the memorabilia. Def a must stop for a good night out!

I've always had good experiences at this post. Very friendly folks, extremely clean facility. The grounds outside are fantastic. It's one of my favorite posts.
I've been to both inside & outside parties it's just a win win situation either way. Being an open post, it gives the community a chance to experience interaction with our Vets, while helping them help the community.

This is a wonderful place to host any type of party. I have been here so many times for various things. It's always VERY clean, I have never seen a dirty floor or bathroom. They offer bingo weekly, Gina's Tear Drop Cafe is currently cooking and selling some of their food here during the week. Room rentals are reasonable and you can also hire one of their bartenders for your party too. They will gladly set-up your tables (round or rectangular) the way you need them AND take them down! Friendly staff too!

Was there last night terrible experience. The two bartenders told me after I had a complaint my type wasn’t wanted in their establishment. New to the area.. needless to say I will never step into that place again. Those bartenders should not be allowed to work in service. Horrific offensive women.

I had my wedding reception here in May 2018. Like everyone else, I was on a tight budget and wanted to find a reasonably priced banquet hall for my reception in the Chicago area, which is hard to do. Luckily, I came across this American Legion Post. The banquet hall is modern and beautiful. Julie, the banquet hall manager, was a pleasure to work with. But, what I liked most about it was that we were able to choose our own vendors. Overall, I definitely recommend this American Legion Post if you are looking for reasonably priced banquet hall in the South Chicago suburb area!
