This place was incredible. The service is great and it’s a very clean and cozy place with incredible ocean views. We stopped by on our way down the coast at sunset to check out the big totem pole that you can see from the highway.

We walked around the grounds which are beautifully maintained and have clear walking paths and checked out the two totem poles. It was getting dark and we could smell the food coming from the restaurant so we walked inside to a lovely lodge area with welcoming guest services who invited us to dinner.

The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, and the food is literally some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Everything from the bread and butter, the beet salad, the fried chicken and the mushroom soup.

They have cookies at the door for you to take when you leave that are phenomenal. They are my favorite cookies I’ve had in a long time.

100% recommend coming here if you’re driving along the highway one. The next stop for restaurant is super creepy and dark and looks awful. This place was cozy warm inviting safe and they had a live musician playing that we could hear from the restaurant.

If you’re driving the coast and thinking about stopping, this is a definitely a place that you wanna stop. Our waitress Alicia was very hospitable to us and made sure that we felt comfortable and had everything that we needed. The restaurant has great ocean views great for a romantic spot, but also still very down to earth and not too fancy. Wednesday is local special. It was $65 for soup, salad, fried chicken, and dessert. Amazing find.

my new fiance took me here for our engagement celebration, and we had the most amazing time. the room was beautiful - overlooked the ocean and had the coziest bed. the food at the coastal kitchen was absolutely delicious - oysters, mussels, ribeye steak, cod fish, and the desserts were wonderful. our server Ilana was so attentive and kind, and all the other staff were so great as well. we truly loved this place - its so cozy and on such beautiful property!

This is such a beautiful and serene place. We love the property and all the amenities. The restaurant serves the best food we have ever had - we've never had a bad meal here. The room was very comfortable; the ocean view suites are definitely worth it. Highly recommend for a peaceful, restful getaway.

My husband and I (along with our baby) braved the "atmospheric river" storm for a quick birthday getaway to the Timber Cove Resort. Our room was non-refundable, so we pushed through and made our way out to the beautiful Sonoma Coast. Upon checking in, the front desk staff was warm, inviting and friendly. They informed me that our room was down a few flights of outdoor stairs (no elevator), so I asked if it was possible to be moved to a ground floor room since we were traveling with a baby. I was informed I'd be charged an upgrade fee. I found this to be disappointing, as it didn't appear as if the resort was anywhere near fully booked, considering the weather. It was pouring rain with heavy gusts of wind, and we had to carry our baby down the stairs in her stroller, so this wasn't ideal for us.||||We booked the cove view room, and sadly we didn't get to enjoy the view much during our stay, but our room was cozy, comfortable and mostly clean (the shower floor had a shoe print and rust stains; the kettle also had dirt inside it). A couple of other things to note during our stay - they provide complimentary pastries each morning but only until 8am, which seems a bit early. When my husband attempted to grab some one morning (before knowing about the 8am cutoff), the staff member let him know he was too late but offered to grab some for him. She then proceeded to charge him for it. We found this to be odd, as the pastries are complimentary, and wish she would have let him know upfront that he would be charged for it. Lastly, we ordered room service one afternoon, and I noticed that I was automatically charged a 20% "large group" gratuity. I'm not sure why as it wasn't a large order, and when I had asked about it, I don't think the manager understood my question. Again, I think it would have been helpful for the staff to inform us of any automatic charges upfront.||||Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the grounds much because it literally didn't stop raining during our stay, but we did get some much needed R&R (even with a baby!). Also the daily cookies in the lobby at 4pm are a must!

The front desk staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday extra special. Even though I wasn’t the one staying, they made the process seamless by helping me order a bottle of champagne to surprise her in her room. Their attention to detail and warm service made me feel like I was their guest too. They were quick, efficient, and ensured everything was perfect for my sister's arrival. Thanks to their exceptional service, the birthday celebration started off on a high note!

Thank you 🙂

The views from the property are world-class, but the overall feel of the resort is a tad dated for the price, and this was especially the case in our room. Traveling with our toddler, we opted to stay in the Family Room. The room felt musky upon arrival, it did not appear dirty, but also did not feel clean. There were tons of marks and dings on the walls throughout and the main light fixture overhead had the cord running across the ceiling and had to be unplugged from the wall to turn off. The toilet seat was loose. The pumps for the soap/shampoo dispensers were broken; there was poor natural light and the views were just okay from our room. We had average accommodations for the price paid. The staff was friendly, the grand room offered a nice gathering place, and the food was good. Must get in the car for a short drive to access the local beach - no access from trails that connect to the resort.

We’ve traveled together to so many amazing places—Yosemite, New York, Carmel, Los Angeles, San Diego—but nothing compares to the hospitality we experienced here.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a special place. The love and care shown toward our dogs, especially Cesar, were unlike anything we’ve ever seen. They weren’t just welcomed—they were celebrated. Cesar received so much attention and kindness, and it was clear the staff genuinely cared. Housekeeping was absolutely impeccable, making everything feel spotless and comfortable for all of us.

Angel, the incredible manager with a Puerto Rican background, treated us to drinks and left a lasting impression with his warmth and authenticity.

At the front desk, Puso greeted us with the kindest welcome, instantly making us feel at home.

And Sia—there aren’t enough words for Sia. She went above and beyond, feeding us, treating us like royalty, and keeping us entertained with just the right amount of conversation—never too much, never too little, always perfect.

Finally, the night attendant made our trip even more magical by letting me place a Christmas ornament on the tree. It was a small gesture that made me feel like I was part of something special, as if I were in my own little holiday story.

This was by far our best anniversary trip yet. And when they say “pup-friendly,” they mean it—our dogs were as cared for as we were. We can’t wait to come back.

I came almost midnight of Dec 21, 2024. It is not a hot season. They had serval rooms available,  however the manager arranged me in a room which is most expensive and the worst room for my whole life.
1) The room is extremely small and dirty.
2) There is no chair and no table in the room,  I took my laptop with me, but I couldn't work on it.
3) The tap water was rusty yellow color for about 10 mins.
