Customer service outstanding!
Gwen, Pat, and Rachel above and beyond with service. Whether a lost/forgotten item locked up in the office for us or help with storage and always with kindness.
Same goes for the excellent cleaning and maintenance staff. Always a smile and willing to help out.
We have been coming here since 2012. It is our home base while visiting our kids throughout the year

Nice large property. Full hookup, power/water, and dry areas.

We had a barking dog in our area and someone went to the office and management took care of it quickly. If it had happened at night I’m not so sure if we (and the dog) would have gotten relief from the situation based on the 3 times we called the number while making reservations or questions they never answer the phone!

Also the system would not let me modify my reservation, that and not being able to get someone on the phone is a serious issue. Luckily I was just adding a day on and made a new reservation.

Thousand trails as a whole cant be a 5 star campground group until you can select the spot you want. I have never liked not knowing if our spot will be a great end spot or one right next to the dump and bathroom, or inches from a cabin(they have a few spots like that here you could be stuck with!)

Pretty easy drive to sac and your out of the problem areas. I felt I could trust leaving my camping gear out while gone all day and nothing was stolen.

If your used to thousand trails these issues won’t concern you. It is one of the nicer thousand trails I have been to in CA

I have been going to Lake minden for over 20 yrs. It use to be a lovely place. It is now seriously run down and dirty. All of the docks surounding the Lake are falling apart, not usable, and roped off with caution tape. Finding a rv space with a good working electrical post is a challenge to say the least. The cabins are dirty and barely wiped down. The furniture in them is funky and old. The road that goes around the lake is riddled with large pot holes. The trees have not been properly maintained and with every wind storm large branches fall from many of them. Some even damaging peoples property. The front gate is constantly malfunctioning and more than once I have witnessed it come down onto vehicles going through. In my experience in dealing with Gwen the manager she is a bully and a tyrant. Last but not least the infestation of feral cats is out of control along with the flees they carry.

Our family enjoyed our stay here in a cabin. It's a peaceful area for a jog/bike around the lake. We appreciated the friendly staff to help with check-in and check-out. The place also provides sports equipment for the related areas. I can see myself returning for serenity.

This is a beautiful RV camp ground with many amenities, including a lake. Great for families and large groups. We travel with our Golden Retriever and there are large grass fields where we can play ball with her. We also enjoyed walking around the lake, which is about 1.5 miles.

Lake Minden is an nice quiet place to stay! I stayed here for a annual duck hunting trip and the location is perfect! I love the outdoors and the cats! The fearl cats look like they are all TNR and well managed. You can tell that the employee's and management take care of the property!

Big property divided into 4 sections, A and D are RV and B and C are tent areas. Section A has a full hookup but spots are extremely narrow and short, section D is better but no sewer and only 30 amp service. There is only one working dump station. The road around the lake is narrow and the water in the lake is cloudy. Bathrooms are renovated, the laundry room has water on the floor and half of the equipment is not working. Verizon and T mobile services are good. The RV park has a lot of space and is peaceful and quiet. 30 min drive to Sacramento.

There’s so many stray cats. SOMEONE is leaving piles of cat food all around the property making the feral cat population worse. There is cat poop everywhere and just a 5 minute drive around the lake you will see at least 20 cats. The bathrooms are usually disgusting and filthy. I’m very unhappy with this specific location, I have never seen a thousand trails in such white trash condition.
