Bland and boring. Beef brisket sandwich served lukewarm. Vegetables seem to be from a frozen bag. Lacking any flavor. Wings were good but on the small side. Coleslaw was pathetic. Service fine.

We visited This Is It Eatery recently and had a great experience.

Our waitress was very nice and great with our kids. She was so patient and kind to work with.

The food was wonderful. Between the five of us we didn't have any leftovers to take home because our kids ate it all!

We will be back again!

Eatery is hands-down one of Freeport’s best! Whether you're grabbing lunch with a client, hosting a casual meeting, or just enjoying a night out, this place delivers.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is top-notch, and the food—absolutely delicious! The menu has something for everyone, and I love that they feature local ingredients and creative dishes. Their burgers and wraps are fantastic, and don’t even get me started on the cheese curds!

19 April 2024: NEW LOCATION! This Is It moved in record time to a new, larger, better location and they are in full swing already! Main dining area and a large bar, a separate, larger dining area that can be reserved for gatherings, and a gaming area.
Located in the Hampton Inn on the corner of Main Street and Galena Ave (US Business 20). There is parking behind the Inn on Galena Ave and Spring Street, along Main Street, and a large fenced in lot across Galena Ave. It has HOTEL GUESTS ONLY signs, but customers of This Is IT Eatery are welcome to use this lot also.
As for the food and staff...as great as before!

A great place for lunch, dinner, or small events. I used their catering service, and the portions exceeded what they promised, and drop-off and pick-up were included. They raise their own grass-fed beef...enough said! Their bar is an intimate experience, with ample selection and that "Cheers" feeling. I am always pleased when I stop there.
On Sept 12, 2023 I had their 2 piece cod with onion rings and corn on the cob. The fish and rings were excellent! Probably the best rings I've ever had. The local Generations Pretzel City Amber brew was very good too.
Any of the staff will treat you like royalty...the owners motto is to treat all customers and staff like family, and this is evident throughout your visit.
Skip the chain restaurants and see this unique small town success story!

The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the servers were very friendly. And they brought enough food that I actually got a second meal out of it. I highly recommend trying this establishment. I plan to go back again

Food was very good. Let me stress how much i hate salmon. I cant stand it one bit but my wife really wanted to try the salmon taco's. We like to share things when we go out to have a variety. Let me tell you these things were fire. We also shared a berry chicken salad (or something along those lines) it was pretty good. It would of been way better with a different dressing but thats on me. I didn't think id like it the most of the options but wanted to give it a try so i cant hold that against them. We also had some double battered fries that looked so good I didn't get a chance to take a pic before we dove into it. Think its the 1st time I've had cheese fries where i wasn't wanting more cheese. When the fries where gone there was plenty left on the plate. Was to early for a drink for me but a few sounded good.

While visiting Freeport for the annual cruise night we stopped in and had a bite to eat. What a surprise! I consider myself a chili expert.. there chili was amazing!! I also had the brisket sandwich which out of 10 I will give a 6.. A little too shredded for me.. I like chunks!! My wife had the steak sandwich which was out of this world! Very good call! We also had The Onion rings which were great. All and all it was a great meal and we give it 4 stars. We will be back to Enjoy their food again..

There's a reason this place is busy! Their ribs are amazing, literally fell right off the bone. The fries were also crispy and amazing. The service here was prompt and kind as well. Played fun 80s pop through some of it.
