Cute little theater house nestled in the hills. My family and I saw a youth performance and found ourselves thouroughly entertained. Even my angsty 18 year old was caught enjoying the show, too! Highly recommend this quaint space for thespians and watchers alike.

"She Kills Monsters," Theatre on the Ridge's current show, is a brilliantly staged, choreographed, costumed, acted show. It's definitely not a show that everyone will like, or even want to see, because of its context (it is a story within a story, mostly immersed in the online role-playing game of "Dungeons and Dragons"). From the enthusiastic accolades from fans who understand that setting and have seen the show, it is a truly brilliant gamble on the part of TOTR to bring new audiences to live theatre, which is a part of their mission as the longest running community theatre north of Sacramento. Bravo to the cast and crew, and gratitude to this little theatre for continually pushing the envelope of live entertainment!

It's been about 6 years since I attended a play at the TotR...I hope this was a one-time fluke...but the production of "She Slays Monsters" was an awfully hideous, garbage production...would not recommend....hopefully they will be producing better quality plays in the future!!! It was so bad, I had to leave during intermission...if it hadn't been rude to do so...I would have left much earlier!!!

It's a beautiful, though small theatre; it's a cozy playhouse. I have been both an actor and a patron here. It caters to anyone who likes intimate theatre. Those who run the day-to-day & the board members are a delight who spend a lot of their free time to keep theatre alive.

It's a very quaint and intimate theater, with almost every seat a great one! There's delicious desserts and beverages to enjoy while sitting in a wonderful place to escape the day's events. There's even adult beverages for those so disposed to making the show even more colorful! I thoroughly enjoyed my "maiden voyage" albeit I'm not a maiden! I look forward to many more such delightful nights at the Theater on the Ridge!
