We have attended several events at The Wedding Barn at Black Jack Vineyard. It’s a beautiful, rustic setting in the hills of the Shawnee Forest. Proprietors are great to work with. Michelle and Peter have a beautiful and rustic space, perfect for a country wedding party. It was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. We hoped to take more advantage of their land, but unfortunately it rained a lot for our party. Biggest bang for your buck, check.
Overnight cabin for the couple included, check.

My family had the opportunity to attend a wedding at Black Jack Vineyard. The grounds nearly upstaged the bride and groom with its picturesque views of grapes growing on the vine. We loved the experience so much we booked the Airbnb. The 1800's log cabin is a must see. The reconstruction process would have Abe Lincoln wondering if he once stayed in such a timeless attraction. I overheard another guest claiming Black Jack Vineyard is the best kept wedding venue secret of Southern Illinois.

Our wedding was October 7th at The Wedding Barn at Blackjack Vineyard and it was absolutely gorgeous! The beautiful rustic barn and the breathtaking view of the trees and vineyard made our special day just even more beautiful than I could ever have imagined! Peter and Michelle were absolutely amazing with setting up and doing whatever we needed them to do and are just all around amazing people. The stay in the farmhouse was so homey truly a comfortable home away from home. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding.

We stay at the Farmhouse which is on the same property as the wedding venue. The owners are great. It's quiet and off of RT 51 Near Giant City and many wineries.
