Haven't ever stayed in one of their air b&b rooms yet but my husband and I go to their Valentines Day dinners that you can reserve a spot and have a special dinner with ur sweetheart. Tho it not being V-day tonight they still had a special random dinner that was available this evening. Was excited to learn a week ago that they were having it. Hubby and I were all for it. For the atmosphere for noce and cozy the hubby & wife who own & run the mention Inn restaurant do all the cooking and the making of the dishes all themselves. Such a hard working couple & who are just out of this world such nice, wonderful people oh and don't wanna forget their handsome young hard working grandson who's always there to give them a helping hand.(bless his little heart). Foods More then just great and can't beat their very affordable prices. If you never been their I highly recommend that you don't want any longer .. you WONT be disappointed...

Phenomenal hosts and inn! We had a wonderful time staying here and we absolutely will return if in the area. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and the mercantile on the first floor is a delight to walk around in. The hosts take great care of you and breakfast in the morning was DELICIOUS. Wonderful inn and would highly recommend staying here!

This is undoubtedly the loveliest place I've ever stayed. The rooms are beautiful, unique and have everything a traveler needs. The historic mansion that our family stayed in has a wonderful vibe and a rustic atmosphere. Linda & Rob the hosts were warm, welcoming & friendly. The rooms were spacious, lovely, clean & comfortable. The sheets & towels were of nice quality. Fully equipped & free wifi. Linda & Rob do pay attention to details all around. Every morning we were served with an impressive delicious breakfast cooked by the host Linda. We enjoyed very much taking 2 visits to Lassen volcanic park. Thank you Rob & Linda for our very pleasant stay, we shall be back.

We visited good friends in Westwood and decided to stay over. They recommended Walker Mansion bed and breakfast. Rob and his lovely wife are awesome folks.

It was Mother's Day Eve, and they gave us a choice of time to rise for breakfast. Robs wife was so sweet, on Mothers Day making us a delicious breakfast! Bacon, egg, and from scratch, absolutely delicious blueberry pancakes! Breakfast topped off with good coffee and cold orange juice.

Rooms have internet and Netflix, no local television, and are clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

We were the only guests that night and were able to talk our hosts into joining us for breakfast. Great people and good conversations.

Lovely place, the best bed&breakfast experience! My wife and I stayed at the Walker Inn Mansion for four nights to explore the nearby Lassen Volcanic National Park. We booked the Blue Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. Rob and Linda were amazing hosts 🙂 Breakfast was fantastic. Terrific experience overall!

I love this place. Set back by Paul Bunyan and Babe Statue, the Mercantile is owned by a lovely couple.
They sell many wonderful things that are reasonably priced. I bought an old sled and wooden match stick holder.
They offer rooms and food. Fridays, their specials are awesome; remember to order in advance.
The mansion has grounds with tables and chairs.Go relax.kids can play there safely if attended.

First and foremost, Linda and Rob are absolutely amazing hosts! Also, the breakfast is delightfully delicious!! It's full-blown restaurant quality meals. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights while making day trips to Lassens Volcanic National Park. The Pine room (where we stayed) was comfortable, clean and cozy. They had A/C too, which is a big plus with it being so warm lately. The bathroom is conveniently located right across the hall and was clean with fresh towels for our use. If we find ourselves back even close to the area we would definitely stay again. What a lovely place to hang your hat at the end of the day; and a great place to start it with a fantastic meal!
