Purchased a night at the Victoria Inn for a Christmas gift my husband. We had an amazing time. The correspondence prior to our arrival was amazing and made our trip so much easier. Room was lovely and spotless and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. We enjoyed it so much that we just booked 2 rooms for nights in July, with friends. We highly recommend the Victorian Inn.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lnn in celebration of our 36th anniversary. It has become a tradition. We live in a neighboring city but it feels like we’ve been transported to a different world. We love Mae’s room. The bed and Linens are so luxurious. I love that we can park right outside the room and walk to everything, restaurants, shops, a beautiful park. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you!

I’ve stayed at the Victoria Inn a handful of times, however this last trip was particularly special. Everyone was very kind and accommodating and my favorite parts was the continental breakfast in the morning with Linda. She was very welcoming even though we showed up for breakfast an 1/2 hr early. The room was on the smaller side, but incredibly charming with a large bathroom, balcony and clawfoot tub. I highly recommend this hotel when you want to get away for a couple of days. The town of Murphys has good food, wine tasting and its down the road from Calaveras big trees. Love it.

I was hesitant to book this hotel because i thought its not good for family with young children but i was surprised that it worked out well for us!
The rooms were really nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, we all had a good sleep which is hard for us to do when we travel. My children’s favorite part was going to the lounge to get free cookies and make some hot cocoa! And also the fresh fruits that they have for breakfast! The 3 ladies from the front desk and the lady who help with breakfast were very lovely and nice. Great location, lots of good restaurants and unique little shops. The Murphy’s park across the street was beautiful, 5 mins to the caverns, 40 mins drive to the snow park and callaveras big trees.
We will come back!

We recently stayed at the Victorian Inn and it was beyond expectations. We booked two nights in the Goldfields room and it was cozy and just right. I enjoyed a soak in the clawfoot tub and sipping coffee on the private balcony. We had access to a Keurig coffee maker for early coffee before the staff arrived and other snacks (cookies, fruit, instant oatmeal, hot cocoa and tea) during off hours.
The lady who made us breakfast was lovely (Linda maybe?) and we enjoyed chatting with her each morning. She made me avocado toast and provided yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit, etc. I believe there were even more options. She said if we call ahead she will provide special gluten free option for us too. She and the front desk ladies were all kind and helpful and made us feel so welcome.

My only complaint and this is not really the Inn's fault but the first night the restaurant staff below our room was very loud until late. The restaurant was closed but they were blasting music and that was a bit unexpected on a Monday night. The second night was very quiet and this will not keep me from rebooking.

We will definitely be back soon! This is my new favorite place! There were so many little details that made us feel at home.

This place is truly a great find in Murphys! We stayed in the Anniversary Suite for three nights in September, and could not have been more satisfied with the room and staff at this Inn.

The location is absolutely ideal, and we spent a lot of time walking around downtown shopping and sampling the restaurants, and the ability to just walk back to our room (just off a side street/ally to Main Street) was much-needed as we were looking for a peaceful getaway.

The staff were attentive and were very helpful in finding extra things to do in the area that we otherwise might have missed. They also offer a continental breakfast that worked well, although it does start a little late in the morning (8:30-10am). It's not the biggest deal, since there are a LOT of breakfast options in the area.

If you're staying in Murphys you should absolutely stay here--highly recommended!!!!

Everything about our stay at the Victoria Inn was great. The room (Doris Suite)was nice and very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

What a great home to stay with friends and enjoy Murphys! The home was beautiful, new build, new neighborhood/development, great set up for 3 couples, full en-suite for all 3 bedrooms, nice backyard with pool, cool creek water feature, fabulous all around. We love coming to Murphys and now have a new favorite spot when friends join. If it was just slightly closer for walking to downtown, but doable. Thank you! 😊
