Over all it is a pretty nice venue. Probably some updates on the bride suite.
The coordination that Miranda has provided was a lifesaver for us. Everything was smooth and great at the time of the event and for the set up. very flexible with our schedule.
The DJ was some what not following the planning for the day of the wedding. We were not able to get to record on the video the special song for the new couple that we had for them. WE requested the DJ to play it and because He did not play it after the speech, He played it until the photographer -video person left the venue. after 11 pm.
We also missed the traditional vibora de la mar dance and the marcha funebre. these are very traditional for our culture and we did not have it even after this was planned for the day.
After these details we did enjoyed the reception from start to end.

I cannot say enough great things about The Venue CU! We had a larger corporate holiday party and our party planning and night of was seamless thanks to the team at Venue CU. They were very easy to communicate with, offered excellent party planning tips, and were on site to help the night of. I have planned many events, and this was one of the easiest I have ever planned thanks to this team. It is also a beautiful space! Would definitely recommend them for your next event!

The Venue CU was amazing to work with during our two year engagement. We booked the venue very early in our wedding planning process and they were great communicators during the entire time. They have great connections with local vendors which makes the planning process very easy.

The space was perfect for our wedding and our guests still talk about how great the bar and patio spaces were.

The entire Venue CU team is great to work with and special shoutout to Rylee who was our day of coordinator. She handled so many responsibilities and let us just relax on the day of, which we appreciated so much!

My husband and I booked the Venue CU before we even got to see it in person. Dan and Miranda worked with us so much before our reception to make sure everything was what we wanted. Dan set up a zoom call so we could see the venue since we are out of town and several times throughout the planning process. The bartender worked with us to get exactly what we wanted for our getting ready drinks, His and Hers drinks, and just the menu in general. They had so many add ons to make the day exactly how you wanted. The DJ services were so convenient and such a stress relief to work with the same team we had been for the rest of the process. Dan and Miranda really went above and beyond to help with our set up, take down, and even met me to pick up something left at the venue the next morning. We got so many complements throughout the night, everyone loved the Venue CU!!

It’s hard to put into words how amazing our wedding day was and it’s because of the employees at the Venue CU! It was better than I could have ever envisioned. My husband and I had our hearts set on another venue for years… until we walked into an unfinished Venue CU back in August of 2020. Dan who toured us around telling us to put our creative caps on and his wife Miranda in the lounge space scraping paint off the walls! They truly put so much time and love into this place. We loved the venue under full construction but loved it so much more on our big day. A few things that helped make our decision easy
1. The time Miranda and Dan took answering questions, from multiple zoom meetings and hundreds of emails. Your time did not go unnoticed and we felt so confident about our wedding day because of this.
2. They really thought of everything, from the spacious closet in the bridal suite for all your stuff to having three bars so no one has to wait in line. The details matter people and this team knows how to throw an event flawlessly.
3. I never felt penny pinched for every little “extra” thing. We looked at a handful of venues and this was really the only one that didn’t even need all the extras because it’s such a beautiful space all on its own.
4. Another positive was not having to clean up after the wedding. The Venue CU team packs everything up for you and it is a game changer. You can truly enjoy your day from start to finish and feel relaxed.
5. Miranda! Everyone needs a Miranda on their wedding day! I’ve been in plenty of weddings to learn what a good day of coordinator does and what an excellent day of coordinator does. Our day was unbelievably perfect because of her! Brides, don’t stress because Miranda has your back and will make your day perfect in every way!

Our daughter's wedding venue was closed unexpectedly (then reopened then closed then finally reopened!) and Dan and his team jumped in quickly to help us out. The space is beautiful (the bar area is my favorite) and they had a wide range of services available to make our day perfect. We ended up not needing to have the wedding there after all since our original venue ended up reopening, but I would not hesitate to have an event here in the future. Dan went above and beyond for us!!

I hosted my husband's 60th birthday party at The Venue CU. It was a 70s/80s theme, and it was so much fun! Dan, Miranda and the entire staff were all incredibly helpful, professional and fun to work with. They helped me plan the event and recommended some great vendors to use to add to the decor. In addition, the space is very beautiful and unique! I was so pleased with the entire event!! We will definitely be back and hope to reproduce this party sometime in the future! I highly recommend The Venue CU!!
