What a beautiful venue, and wonderful hosts! My daughter's wedding in June was an incredible time thanks to the hosts at the Uplands. We had gorgeous bedrooms for family and wedding party so we could reconnect. My granddaughters and kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the clear, serene lake while others of us worked on ceremony prep. I can't express enough appreciation for all the support from the staff. The setting is so lovely. Everything inside is brand new and spotless and tastefully decorated. Plenty of cozy sitting areas for guests to gather and chat. There's a catering kitchen in the big open building, and a well equipped kitchen in the lodge. It was fabulous! Thank you!

Amazing! We had our family vacation here in July and had a great time. It slept everyone comfortably (usually about 20 of us) with plenty of room for more and had everything we needed - towels, dishes, cooking & grilling gear! So many fun activities for kids and adults of all ages: fishing, boat access to the lake, pickleball, basketball, swimming, kayaking, camp fires, and all supplies that were needed for all of that. We brought more stuff than we needed - you can pack light! The outdoor play closet supplies were impressive. Even bags of ice! Big family meals were super fun and easy with 2 grills, an outdoor deep fryer, and picnic tables to enjoy outside. Inside was clean, cool, & comfortable with multiple spaces to split up for movies or enjoy everything together. Great owners and communication. Thank you Katie! Definitely plan to go again.

Where do I start? We hosted the first wedding at The Uplands and it was perfect! The bridal party had a beautiful newly remodeled area to get ready in with plenty of natural light, mirrors, bathrooms, & central kitchen for storing food and drinks while we got ready. The boys had the time of their lives… no hours of waiting for pictures, they went swimming in the lake, fished, and enjoyed everything the property offered until quickly showering up for pics in the afternoon. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the manicured lawn overlooking the lake. After the ceremony, our guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio which was great! We used the property’s Adirondack chairs to make a sitting area, which many of our guests utilized. The reception was held in the event center which is gorgeous! Also it has air conditioning which was amazing! After dinner when the sun started to set, we raised the 3 large barn doors, to open up the dance floor and create an open air feel for the rest of the evening. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the scenic atmosphere as they walked on the beach, threw a football around on the grass, danced on the patio area, or watched the sunset overlooking the lake. The Uplands is truly a one-of-a-kind property. Everything you would want for a wedding or any other special event & we can’t recommend it enough! -The Schicks

Great place for events. On site there is a big open building where the wedding was, and the other building had a great kitchen and lots of small rooms for families as well as a bunch of bunk beds too. There's a nice lake and beach as well. Overall, would recommend.
