We are halfway through a 2 night stay and think so highly of The Twelve Oaks that we are writing our review now. We arrived after the 6pm check-in window; Maryjane had everything prepared for us and sent the doorcode to gain entry. We made our way to the Master Suite, and it impressed us greatly when we entered; true period charm very well presented. The whole house is delightful! Breakfast the following morning was perfect; sausage, scrambled egg, and pancakes after a fruity parfait to start. It was served by the most friendly and attentive waitress whose name, I regret, I cannot remember. A wonderful location, a beautiful residence, a lovely breakfast, and friendly service. Perfect!

We are long time Covington residence and were not aware that this beautiful home was a Bed & Breakfast. We were looking for a local stay overnight for a special celebration and came across The Twelve Oaks Bed and Breakfast. WOW! What a pleasant surprise. We were blown away by the hospiatlity, quality of amenities and service. We met many couples from across the nation during our stay while enjoying the sippin' & nibblin' cocktail hour and the exceptional community breakfast organized by our host.
I highly recommend this experience to everyone!

The house is absolutely breathtaking. Every single detail. The room was so clean and beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful and sweet. All and all an absolute dream experience. Def recommend. Once in a lifetime experience. I can't compliment this place enough. We stayed in the Brothers Bourbon room. The bath tub was the best bath I have ever taken.

Had a great time at the Twelve Oaks. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Merry (the innkeeper) was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the cocktail hour in the evening; it was such a fun way to meet other guests and share stories and experiences. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable stay. Don’t hesitate to book your visit!"

This place was exactly what we had hoped for. Period furnishings, memorabilia reflecting Gone with the Wind, and history of the house. The staff were all wonderful and made our visit so very memorable. We enjoyed the Covington movie tour (Main Street Trolleys and Tours) even though much of it involved houses involved with The Vampire Diaries. We may watch just to see the area again! And we really enjoyed the Sippin’ and Nibblin’ hour talking with Tammy and her breakfasts too! Only awkward moments were bugging Tammy for ice since the ice maker in the fridge was broken. She was a trooper!

We finally made our way to Covington after talking about a trip for years and the twelve oaks made the trip! From the welcome by Mary and the daily breakfast -omg amazing— to the perfectly decorated suites and historic home, this is hands down an experience everyone should have. Don’t hesitate. Mrs. Merry is the best innkeeper. She is so sweet, accommodating, and a fantastic cook. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our weekend here and talking with her. Every room is spectacular. Our first B&B experience and it’s going to be a hard one to top
