Stovall House is the perfect getaway. My family stayed for a weekend when we decided to book it as our wedding venue. Jeff, Erin, and Drayton went above and beyond to make it the perfect weekend and then the perfect wedding a year later (Oct. 2024). We look forward to visiting again many more times. Erin’s food is incredible, so I highly recommend you stay around for breakfast. I could go on all day about how much we love this place!

My fiancé and I stayed here for a mini vacation, and it was incredible. The views are spectacular, the coffee every morning was the best coffee I’ve ever had, and Drayton and Erin were so helpful! Drayton provided recommendations on where we should eat when we drove to Dahlonega one day, and he gave us recommendations on what all we could do when one of the days was a wash out. Erin provided recommendations to my fiancé on where he could propose, and even went as far as to try and help him set up reservations at a nice restaurant. It’s also super close to Helen - like a 10 minute drive. We had a fantastic time, and we’ll definitely be back!

Editing because I forgot to add that the rooms were very clean, and when we arrived we were greeted by the cutest pups, especially the blonde/brown pup who showed us exactly where the entrance was as soon as we arrived. The only downside was we didn’t get to see them much after the first day. We did get to enjoy s’mores by the fire as well, which was incredible!

Once again, our stay exceeded our expectations. The relaxing atmosphere and attentiveness of Dayton, along with the superb breakfasts on the porch (our favorite thing) made us feel like home away from home. The location is also convenient for hiking and vineyard visits....and much thanks, for the recommendations to the Harvest Restr., a superb eating experience! This will be our meeting place for visiting Canadian friends and family.......

We recently had our wedding at Stovall House, and stayed at the inn all weekend long. We can't say enough what a wonderful experience it was. Jeff, Erin, and Drayton took amazing care of us, and the event was wonderful and exactly what we hoped. We look forward to returning to Stovall House again and again to revisit this beautiful inn and our memories, and highly recommend Stovall House for either a relaxing getaway or a big event!

My wife and I just got married there. Our experience was phenomenal! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Jeff, Erin and Drayton went above and beyond to make sure we had the best weekend. Erin's cooking was delicious! The rooms were amazing, and the overall vibe was everything we wanted. We couldn't be happier! We definitely plan on coming back!

We couldn't have picked a better place to escape the big city for our wedding anniversary! Jeff, Erin and Draton exceeded our expectations in service, the historic home was beautiful and the setting is perfect. The breakfasts were exceptional. A deep wraparound porch with rocking chairs, chirping birds with a view of mountains and perfect rooms.

Had an excellent stay at the Stovall House while attending a wedding nearby at Yonah Mountain Vineyard. We had been recommended to stay in a few chain hotels in downtown Helen but I was very glad I looked a bit harder to find this charming inn. The home itself has been excellently maintained and updated where needed with modern amenities but while maintaining its historic charm. The views from almost every window were lovely, as the property sits on a beautiful promontory with vistas in every direction. The owners were great and were helpful in getting settled in and learning about activities in the local area. My favorite part about staying at Inns is always breakfast and Stovall did not disappoint- we had a great breakfast in the beautiful dining room before hitting the road on the way back to the airport. My girlfriend particularly enjoyed the welcoming party of dogs that equally enthusiastically bid us farewell when we parted ways.

A house with great owners and a front porch that feels like home. The large house sits on 23 acres in a valley with close views of the mountains, a garden, a yard with black walnut trees, and a large firepit to make smores (all supplied) or just relax. In the morning, we were treated to a unique, tasty breakfast made up with freshly made fruit salad, freshly laid eggs, and zucchini bread with a lemon, goat cheese glaze. The house has five guest rooms but we stayed in the yellow room both times as we like the large comfortable bed, great shower and tje large window which opens to get fresh cool mountain air. The owners have two friendly dogs who are brought to the B&B every morning and provide an added attraction while sitting on the front porch. Location wise, the B&B is a short drive to Helen, Anna Ruby Falls, and several wineries, and hiking trails. Erin's husband, Jeff was a big help planning our first day's itinerary both times we visited, until we got the lay of the land. I hope you have as nice weather as we had and get to enjoy all there is to do and see in the area.
