Excellent space and grounds. The circulation took a moment to cool off the event space. The windows would easily be opened by patrons to help facilitate air movement. Lots of room for the large crowds, depending on how many things a planner had in mind regarding seating, floor space (dance floor), food service setup, etc. The owners were extremely charming and engaging. They spent some of the evening with me, telling me the background of the place. I loved it!

Very cool place. Pretty and well done floors. Very photogenic place inside and out. They had a Daddy
-Daughter Dance tonight and there were a lot of happy girls and proud fathers. The dancing was fun. They had glow sticks for the girls. Plus, a foam tube rigged with different color lights in them with different settings for how fast the lights blinked. DJ played great songs to dance to. Free photos taken, free crafts, drinks and snacks. My daughter and I had a blast. I'm sure everyone did.

If you want to sweat at a wedding. Have it here. Can’t believe a place in central Illinois would not have adequate cooling for an event. 9/14/2024

A little out of the way, but a nice location for the wedding we attended. The staff was very friendly. Restored barn had a nice rustic feel.

Large rustic remodeled barn facility with plenty of room for any gathering. Was a guest for a birthday party so can't speak about rental price. Marked down because of no air conditioning, I think I saw portable heat units for when it is cold. Not good for those who need AC in the heat.

My husband and I had our reception here and it was everything I hoped it would be. The Stables has so much rustic charm that it really didn't require a lot of additional decorations. The owners were great to work with, made everything really simple for us.

I have been the wedding DJ twice now at this venue and I have to say it was such a pleasure to work with the staff. They really work hard to make everything perfect for their clients and the vendors. And the view is stunning
