Absolutely amazing, we ordered alittle bit of everything, it was all amazing. Very unique take of Southern food. Fried pork rinds and queso, great grouper tacos, and smoked wings. Huge smoked bologna sandwich. Honestly the best restaurant in Athens, probably Huntsville included. Family of 4 came out less than $100.

The chef is taking shortcuts here. The menu looks great but what they serve you is not the same. Example 1, there was no apple in the "Apple slaw." Example 2, we carried home a "slice of chocolate bourbon pecan pie," only to find a small plain pecan pie- no bourbon, no chocolate. Disappointing. The mac and cheese, although baked with a layer of cheddar on top, was not cheesy, just creamy. No hard cider in the bar.

We did enjoy the fried chicken and the garlic mashed potatoes. Our server was attentive.
Wouldn't recommend, won't return.

Ordered the Bacon Wrapped Quail & Wagyu Skirt Steak. I was pleased with the service, speed of the kitchen, and the taste of the food. The Bacon Wrapped Quail alone is worth a visit.

Our server Sara was excellent. Mignionette sauce for my raw oysters was excellent! What a lovely surprise! Oysters were very small. Disappointing. Shrimp and grits were different. The actual shrimp were delicious. The sauce was overwhelming and too salty. I was looking forward to the grits but couldn't taste them as they were swimming in sauce. The noise level was surprisingly loud. It was uncomfortable for 2 of our hearing impaired guests.

I will try again.
