Food was ok, needed salt for my skirt steak skillet… asked for medium but hit well done. My husband got the brisket skillet, it was good, grits were runny but the flavor was good, the pancakes are dry as all out and not flavorful, y’all need to add some vanilla abstract or something… the green tasted like….. NOTHING, I do not recommend the collard greens if you are a season person. Raspberry lemonade is good, the mimosa was $11. The drinks to me are high.. Presentation was on point and you do get enough food to get comfortably full with left overs. Service was good, this place is nice and cozy so I will be back to try other things.

I do not usually write reviews but this is the first time I have ever had something happen at a restaurant where they haven’t tried to make it right (well I did get it a new sandwich if you call that making it right that I did not eat since at this point I was disgusted). I ordered a sandwich and after taking several bites (unfortunately) realize there is mold on my bread. I did not make a scene like some may have. I called the waitress over, and told her she says “you have to be kidding me”, takes my plate, comes back and asks if I want something else or another sandwich. New sandwich brought out by someone else (asked for a box immediately). Not another word about it. Check is brought to us and again not another word (I guess I was hoping for “I’m really sorry about that) Never was I apologized to. I pick up check thinking “well hopefully they comped it” NOPE!!! Nothing, not even the soda. Now before everyone gets their panties in a bunch I was not looking for all our meals to be comped, just some sort of gesture to show that what happened was wrong (yes I know things happen, but mold in the restaurant business should not be one of them). We took our bill went up front, paid (I even left a 20% tip because that is just me) Unfortunately my pictures are hard to tell cause it’s a tiny piece of bread and I forgot to get a picture before it was taken away. Really I may not have even written this if I would have at least got an apology. I gave 2 stars only because my husbands and daughters food was great.

An excellent place for breakfast or lunch. This is a place where you take relatives to impress them!
Decor was fresh and clean, food was ENORMOUS and tasty, and service was excellent!
I have had multiple entrees at different times, and have never had a bad meal.
Pancakes are HUGE, and cover a dinner plate completely!
I took home what I could not eat, and that lasted for three more meals!
Definitely a goto place!

Any how I won't be going back there!! The PANCAKES 🥞 was too big too much dough...

Huge portions. Love the chicken and waffles and omelettes. Weekends are busy, almost always you need to wait for a table but is not a long waiting time and is worth it.

First time going to the Roselle location, my usual location is the one in St Charles. We were doing brunch to celebrate my sister’s birthday, i did not realize you can only have your table for 90min which was kind of a bummer considering it’s an all girls brunch and we are going to Yap for hours. The staff never told us we had to leave which was nice but the pressure of being there longer then the “allowed time” did not sit right with me. The food was amazing per usual, I got my usual country fried steak and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The host on the other hand a bit rude/stand-off ish but maybe had a rough night so hope you’re feeling better. Highly recommend, all their food is delicious and the portions are big and filling.
