The room was comfortable and clean, though pretty small. We had 2 queen beds for 4 people, which was kinda a tight fit in the room, but very doable. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable, we all loved the waffles! They were happy to provide extra pillows when we requested, which was much appreciated.
My daughter tripped and banged her knee in the lobby, and the receptionist was very helpful with getting us ice and making she was okay.

You’ve made some very nice updates, and the service was very good. The beds were good, and the rooms were clean. If the doors to the guest rooms could close all the way without needing to be slammed, that would be great (they just need to be planed a little.) Also, I think having individual slices of bread in ziplock baggies at breakfast is wasteful. Other hotels seem to just use a bread box and tongs. And some kind of protein at breakfast (maybe even just some hard boiled eggs?) would be nice. Overall, it’s an awesome hotel with a fun historic vibe, and we will be back. Thanks!

Our room was very nice with a balcony overlooking Washington Street. The lobby was decorated for Christmas and there was even a cute Christmas tree outside our room. We wish the weather would have been better but we had a great time. We’ll definitely be back!

The Hotel is located on the main street in old Sanora. Lots of stores to see that is walking distance. There was a mistake in room we booked but the service dest was extremely helpful with fixing that problem. It is a old Hotel so some of the showers are small. The larger rooms have bigger showers. Also (because of age) the hot water takes a while to get to shower head. The beds were extremely comfortable and one of my favorites for comfort. The upgrades of rooms is nice. The painting in rooms was done well but the maintenance person should be better with painting and caulking. The carpets will probably be upgraded next. On second floor, there was a very nice view on a deck where pool is. A disappointment was the elevator was out of service along with ice machine. The worst part was the breakfast. Things they can fix is make sure coffee and food is available during the time that is advertised. You might want to get coffee at coffee shop. It didn't taste well when pot finally arrived. All that being written, I would try it out again for the comfort of bed and mostly because of the friendly staff.

The hotel was great! A nice piece of history in Sonora. Staff were very nice as well. Our room was nice and clean. Aver all it was a pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again. The room had a mini fridge which was very helpful for us since we need one to store meds.

The room updates are clean and lovely. Bathrooms are dated but clean-it’s a historic building. The staff was excellent. Everyone was so helpful and sweet. Very accommodating to our wedding weekend needs.

The Sonora Inn is conveniently located & recently refreshed. The rooms are long & the placement of the window mounted AC is closer to the entry area of the standard King room and the air doesn’t make it to the bedroom area, they could use a vent deflector to push are into the bedroom. We were on the third floor, room 306 facing the rooftop. We opened the bedroom window for air, but there is no screen, so we did not want to open it too wide. We placed a Ryobi fan on the window sill to bring in some air. The staff was great & very helpful. The morning breakfast included hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, cereal, prepackaged breads for toasting & muffins along with apples. Overall, a good stay, we would stay there again.
