Discovered this sweet little restaurant while camping at Hardridge Creek Campground. The food was great, and the ladies who run/own it are wonderful. We would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a burger or pulled pork (what we ordered). While there is no indoor seating, there are picnic tables outside. We shared a table with a couple we had just met there and had a very pleasant conversation with them.

The Silo is a simply wonderful place to stop and eat! It's a roadside picnic where all you have to bring is your appetite. The burgers are amazing! I had a cheeseburger all the way and let me tell you, whatever they seasoned that burger patty with was incredible! Perfectly juicy, tasty burger! I also had a slaw dog. The slaw was fresh, crispy and had a slight sweetness that partnered with the savory hotdog just right! I got to enjoy my meal at the picnic table they have available. The two ladies that run the place are very welcoming and charming. It was a perfect lunch! I made The Silo a big ole ❤️ on my Google map, can't wait to go back!

The food is worth stopping by. My favorites are their burgers, tacos, and chicken croissant sandwiches. The owners, KC and Sam, are so friendly! This is my go to eatery when up in Abbeville before I hit the lake!

Love this place! Eat here weekly. Food is awesome, burgers, dogs, wraps, and tacos. You will find something that will fill you up. If you drive by…stop. You won’t be sorry you did! KC, Sam and Kayla are super friendly and very fast with your order. You can’t go wrong here.

A MUST IF YOU ARE IN THE FORT GAINES AREA!!!
A small Grain Silo converted into a fast food walk-up restaurant.
Burgers, Hot Dogs, Tacos, Salads, and other fast food.
Prices were a little higher than expected but quality and quality were excellent.
Service was excellent with super friendly staff.
This was, at this time, the only food place open in Fort Gaines.
Chili Dog chili is almost all beef... GOOD.

This remote wooded area hides a true gem of roadside eateries.

Featuring homemade hotdogs, hamburgers, and other classic grilled fare perfect for a summers day. Be sure to also try the desserts!

The staff here also has to be some of the most kind and personable I have ever seen.

This is a must stop if you are in the area or like me enjoy Sunday drives to unique dining locals.

The Silo, once used as a grain bin, now dishes up some tasty American fare and snacks, while your taste buds are going round and round! It’s a squatty metal round building with a tin man style hat and a cute covered porch. Place an order at the window and when served, enjoy sitting at a table or in a chair along the railing! The chili dogs (3) for hubby, and a crisp sweet, slawdog for me, with a bag of chips and some ice cold cokes, made a beautiful, warm day GREAT! We devoured our late lunch under a nice, cool shade on the porch and watched the local traffic go by maybe to the lake nearby! Easy, breezy and a fun, little spot to catch up on some nostalgia in a roundabout way!

Chili Dogs were GREAT, tasted like the Coney Dogs we get back home in Michigan. And the staff was SUPER FRIENDLY, only wish we could visit again <3
